“This company was chosen by my realtor to conduct the repairs on my new home. On the day of the initial repairs, I stopped by as the new owner to introduce myself and thank them for the work they were doing. The older guy with the slicked back white hair acted like I was an absolute bother so that rubbed me the wrong way. Fast forward a couple weeks and the exterior and a few interior repairs remained. Understandably they had to postpone a few times due to weather. None of this was communicated well. I also had an "aged" AC unit that was supposed to be serviced. Instead of servicing and offering suggestions, they tried to upsell me a whole new system for 10,650 bucks. Oh but so nice of them to offer payment plans since they understood this is a big expense. Had 2 tenured AC techs come out and all I needed was a condensor. If they were honest I would of went with them. canceled the remaining repairs. As a vet I wanted to use veteran owned businesses for future work, but not this one.“

Obviously - when something breaks - can be expensive. But they've always been on point and quick to fix. I also really like that their techs will present information/options and let the owner make a decision. They aren't too pushy / salesy.“

“Our AC wasn't putting out cold air consistently, we called on a Monday, they showed up the next day (it wasn't an emergency in the middle of summer). Fairly charged for recharging the Freon and advising to call them to check level in a few months to check for a leak if necessary. Well informed veteran tech was friendly and personable. My husband is a 40 yr HVAC service mgr, he was very pleased the tech didn't try to oversell or misdiagnose the problem.“

“I have been using Action Heating & Air since 2008. In the past they replaced my old HVAC system along with efficiently replacing and rearranging the ductwork. We no longer have major temperature discrepancies in various rooms including the down from the upstairs. I have used them ever since to inspect my system twice a year. “Saw them on a list with Berkeley electric. They were the only ones with the cheapest quote. Their air conditioner is awesome. I would definitely recommend them. I wanted to add how awesome this Company really is. Last night 6/5/23 I heard water leaking in my attic. The air handler that that they replaced was leaking. I called them at 1030pm and Mike the Manager called me back 15 minutes later. He sent a guy over the same night that was coming from James Island. “My 25 year old heat pump finally gave up the ghost. It was a good run, but now my house was 85 degrees. I am at the age where I really need AC. Called Reliable based upon recommendation of a friend and not wanting to deal with those companies that always seem to to have make several returns after install. Chris from Reliable responded to the call and walked me through options and the process for a new unit. Two days later he shows up with new unit and is in and out in 4 1/2 hours. Sitting here in my nice cool house and have a very professional looking install. They are very neat and meticulous, it not only cools well but looks good. “Absolutely phenomenal experience! I was referred to JAC by another service provider in the area (Jackie @ Restored Air) that told me they have worked with JAC for years and that I would surely be taken care of.

My initial contact was with Sue in operations who was amazing! She returned my message quickly and then took the time to listen to my overall (non-emergent) concerns-answered all of my questions—and was then able to get a technician set-up to come out to our home within 48 hours.

Next I was contacted by Harper to confirm my appointment window. The office stayed in touch with me on the day of service and was even able to accommodate a better time frame for me without any issue!

Eric was the technician that came out and he was so professional and pleasant! He seemed quite knowledgeable and took the time to listen to our concerns and ask questions to help figure out what may be contributing to our current issues, but he did NOT just ‘do a service, just to do a service.’

Instead he looked over the unit, ran a test and then reviewed the things that we should do for better efficiency. He then told me that based on the age of our hvac unit, we should plan to do a maintenance service in about a year. We most definitely will use this company again for all of our future hvac service needs and plan to recommend them to others.“
