“I didn't actually make it to the practice, because they told me it would cost me $87 to work my cat in. On top of the $87 there would be the regular visit. However I later did take a cat in that was a stray and they worked really hard with me to help the cat, but it ended up we had to have him put down. I was very distraught even though it really wasn't my cat. I was hoping I could get him healthy enough so he could come in with the rest of my pets. The vet was very compassionate and was kind enough not to charge me for the euthanasia. I did however have to pay $200 for just a check of the cat to see what we could do for him. I think when it's a stray cat there should be allowances made, because I cared enough to take him in for health screening. I guess that's why people just drop off cats at the vet in hopes that they will be taken care of. I do wish their prices were lower.“
