Splurge and get the Lovable Package … warm neck wraps, an eternal leg massage, paragon, hot towels, hot rocks … shabang! Seriously the best experience from the upscale chairs to the music to the champagne (I don’t drink) but for my daughter. I think I will come back to Charelston just for this experience alone! Ralph is the ?. He gives the best fades and fade-adjacent type haircuts in the county, and anybody will tell you this. (Maybe he does other stuff IDK.) Occasionally, I'll be traveling or need a haircut quickly and go see someone else ... I usually end up regretting it. I just barely moved to Charleston and was not happy about having to find a new barber as I’d had the same one for the past 8 years back home in Utah. I came crossed circa and gave it a try. I’m not one to leave reviews in fact I think this might be my first haha but Michael did such a damn good job! His attention to detail was amazing. Even though the hair style I was after was slightly different texture than my hair, he did his best layering and shaping my hair to make it work! I appreciate him and will definitely be coming back:)

For a first time spray tan I had the best experience with Heather of Lowcountry Bronze. I found the salon to be clean, open, and easy to find with ample parking spots. The door may be locked but Heather was ready to greet me at the door with such a welcoming energy. I felt shy and awkward at first but talking with her I felt more comfortable. You can dress to your comfort level. Prior to the spray, Heather went over the maintenance and tips for having a good tan. It should last about a week when you maintain it and follow the instructions. The spray process itself took about 10-15 mins, very fast. At the end you can use the blower tool to dry out the spray application. Booking was easy using the Vagaro website and Heather reached out as well to see if I had any further questions which I appreciated as a first timer. Overall loved the application process and the communication. Look forward to getting more comfortable with spray tans!

Tammy (Evans) does the BEST nails - I won’t go to anyone else actually. She’s such a pro and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. She always paints a nail and then asks to make sure u like the color. I never have to ask for extra coats - if a polish is too translucent she adds more coats. I work in a labor intensive industry that’s hard on my hands and she makes sure my gel manicure lasts THREE weeks! She’s so sweet too. Grateful that I found her!
I walked in a few days ago after breaking my long nail that had split through the acrylic down to the bone, child! (Slight exaggeration to convey the pain of it!) But I sat with a kind lady nail tech who removed all my tips and did an overlay on my natural nails. That lady was so careful with my throbbing splintered thumbnail, earning the 5 stars right there. But it was the professionalism, cheerfulness, good conversation, and super fair pricing that got me! Very happy!!
This place is consistently great. The pedicures are some of the best on James or John's Island. Great value compared to other salons in the area. They are always very friendly and have had no issue getting in on the weekends without an appointment.

After searching for a very long time, I finally found the perfect salon. I absolutely adore Pink Polish. Everyone is so kind and inviting, not to mention phenomenal at their jobs.
But my favorite part of Pink Polish is my girl Vivian. None of my ideas are too out there or detailed for her! I love working with her to create nails that I love and for my style. She knows a thing or two about nail shapes and is also a joy to talk to.

Tracie and Erika made this bride’s wedding day dream look come to life. We all came in to get matching family tattoos. Tyler was assigned to us - he did great! We had lots of fun hanging out with him and getting tattooed! He is very professional! My friend and I did a walk in for matching tattoos on a Friday night. We were immediately greeted and welcomed in. The shop is clean and everyone is very friendly and accommodating- they even had snacks/drinks for customers. Shane did our tattoos and did an amazing job- he was very, very thorough and made sure the entire process was seamless. We honestly wanted to go back for another tattoo before we left town to head back home but just didn’t have time! ?

After doing extensive research I came upon Upper Hand Tattoo Studio. I found Steve Beasley work absolutely stunning and his line work superb. We met and had a consultation with an idea in mind and he brought it to life. Today we started the first session and I’m blown away by his talent and can’t wait for it to be completed and to have my other half sleeve finished as well! The shop was spotless, Jordon at the front is great and all the artist seem awesome! Definitely a highly recommended place to check out for high quality ink.

This review is based on a visit on August 5, 2024. This is also the third time Attaboy has come to help me. The first was several years ago installing toilet from Lowe's and they did a very good job with that.
Today Riley and Jody came to address a problem with some pipes under my sink. They called when on their way and actually arrived a bit earlier than their scheduled appointment time.
They quickly identified what the issues were and had the parts they needed on the truck so the repair was finished expeditiously. Both Riley and Jody were polite, pleasant, and professional. The price for the work was quite reasonable.
I definitely will be using Attaboy for any future plumbing issues. The person in the office who scheduled the appointment was very friendly and got me an appointment within two days. She also called the day before to confirm the appointment.
June 30,2024 - I had a new Insinkerator garbage disposal installed today by Attaboy Plumbing. The plumbers John and Chris came right at the promised time of 12-2 PM ( actually arrived right at noon). They were very professional, polite, and didn't take long to get it installed. The price was very fair. This is the second time I have used Attaboy Plumbing (the first time was to install a toilet from Lowe's) and was happy with the first visit as well.

Wow!! Finally an A/C business that cares about people. During Covid my family took a huge hit financially so I was in need of an honest business. A previous company that is highly recommended on FB came out prior and said I needed to replace my 2013 Trane unit. 1/2 the price of others and they did a fantastic job cleaning. They were upfront about the service they could provide, he threw in an extra treatment for free (typically ~90$) because he had the equipment with him in the truck and thought it would help, and did a detailed walkthrough afterwards explaining what he did and why certain things wouldn’t come out. I didn’t even notice the small spots he mentioned but I appreciate the honesty. He also suggested other services when I asked him about non-carpet cleaning questions and he seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. Super friendly and flexible, I will 100% use them again in the future, it’s such an easy choice.

I have had my carpets and rug cleaned multiple times and the customer service is fantastic. Along with that, they get out every single stain and make every effort to move things whenever possible. The smell is also delightful.
Absolutely horrible! Hired for a cleaning after a renovation. Made zero effort to remove any dry wall mud off the floors (that I told them about beforehand) which easily comes up. Didn't even bend over to pull up some blue painters tape that was on the hardwood floor. Drywall dust still on the floors. Toilets dirty. Sinks dirty. Showers dirty. Didn't even touch the windows. The only thing that was clean was the carpet and that was because it was installed the same day. And FYI their reviews are fake... one is a family member. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!

I just wanted to say this company Is great! I had my first treatment today and Dean was a very nice professional person! This company did more for me then I have seen Terminex do in friends houses. Not only do they spray, he put bait in the cabinets and around the drawers. I was really impressed that he even got the Ant beds out in the yard without me even saying anything about them!! I have a well earned fear of Dentist. I had four issues going on today, from a root canal and crown and alignment problems to needing a cleaning and clenching. My doctor was able to address the most urgent matters and we made a plan for the everything else. My children have been a patient of Cornerstone Children's Dentistry for the last 17 years. Please know that this office is very transparent when it comes to what your responsibility is in regard to payments. There was a brief time when we had a small window of being without insurance and they were very up front and honest about what we owed.It is not someone else's fault when as a patient you failed to understand what your responsibility is in regard to payments, etc. This is a great practice and I have never had an issue with billing, payments, patient responsibility, etc.I typically do not leave posts, but I do not like when people leave negative reviews based off of their misinformation!

Dr Jay is absolutely the best. I used to see him about 15 years ago up in Somerville. I have recently come back to see him because my orthopedic surgeon and my urologist cannot seem to figure out what is going on with the pain in my back and my legs. I started seeing him last week and he already has me walking without my Walker or my cane. I've had everything from surgery to spinal injection and even stimulators and nothing seems to fix the problem but Dr Jay keeps me standing upright and I'm so glad that I thought to look him up again. Definitely blessed to have him taken care of me. Highly recommend to anybody that is having back issues. Plus he's really just a nice and personable guy, super friendly

Visiting Charleston for just a few days, I had thrown my lower back out a few days earlier. I?ve had back issues for 50 years and I know from experience that only a chiropractor can help me. Having just spent a few hours in the IAAM, I was in agony. Several times in the museum I thought I would pass out from the pain. I found Dr. Workman while doing a GOOGLE search. He was only a 5 minute walk from the museum. I called him and he was able to see me right away. Once there, I filled out the necessary paperwork, he completed his treatment-adjustment, I walked out feeling much better. My back improved every day due to his adjustment. The next day I as able to sit, walk, hike without pain. He save my vacation.

The first major change I experienced with Dr. Sarah was when she adjusted my nose. I could breathe fully for the first time in my life and my head instantly felt lighter. Most recently, I had my wisdom teeth removed. I went through so much pain with my jaw because of the surgery, and after my mouth had healed enough I went to see Dr. Sarah for the remaining pain in my head and jaw. The first adjustment she made immediately cleared the stiffness I felt in my jaw and I had full movement back since my surgery. The second adjustment made the constant headache I had dealt with literally melt away. Chiropractic has benefited me in ways I didn’t know were possible and I forever love Dr. Sarah and her practice!
Dr. Ann Jenkins, Chiropractor came to my rescue with her knowledge and the ability to stop my pain. I had been hurting with my sciatic nerve for close to three months. My neighbor recommended Dr. Ann and gave me her number. I called and left a message, and she called me right back. She saw me right away. I am impressed with the information she gathered from me to get a complete picture of what might be going on. One visit to her office and I was free from pain the next day. She is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend her.

Dr Bassett helped me get my lower back into shape. When I first visited his office I could hardly walk, after a few visits, I was fully functional again, and able to get back to work.
My experience at Charleston Animal Eye Specialists was exceptional, and I highly recommend their services. The appointment booking process was streamlined, with ample availability. Each individual of the staff was extremely courteous and attentive, ensuring that our visit was relaxed and informative. They were especially adept at explaining procedures and answering questions, making us feel valued and respected even for a routine eye exam. The facility itself was notably spacious and meticulously maintained. Most importantly, the veterinary team was exceptionally considerate of our dog’s comfort, avoiding the use of a high, metal table and working at his level. They also showed thoughtful discretion by asking permission before offering him treats. Overall, the level of care provided by Charleston Animal Eye Specialists was outstanding, making it an excellent choice for pet eye care.

Our Reba, a 6 year old rottie, became very sick and had emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder. Dr. Padgett had laid out all the options but we felt very confident that he would conduct the surgery. Dr. Rains conducted all the tests before and after care. Both doctors were so caring and responsive to our needs for Reba. All the technicians and staff round out the professional team dedicated to Reba's care. This is an on-going progress, Reba will need further care. We feel assured that Clements Ferry has the expertise and is the best place for a positive outcome.

We LOVE Dr. Campbell and ALL the office staff! They all really care about our pets and us as a family!! We have experienced many vet visits, from the regular “well checkup” to the sad visits where we have had to choose euthanasia, and everyone at AMW has always been very supportive and caring! I feel like Dr. Campbell and ALL of the veterinarians there that we have seen always give us the most information that they can about our pets and allow us to make our own decisions regarding our pets’ treatment and care! I also highly recommend their grooming services, which are in the same office! They always do a fabulous job on our goldendoodle! :)
We were evacuated to coastal Sc from Asheville after hurricane Helene. The aftermath prevented us from getting to our home and we left without anything, including my pups laundry list of medication. Between the evacuation and being off his medications for a week he was in a bad spot, and I am SO glad I called these guys! They just made everything happen so quick and easy to straighten things out and get replacements of all his meds, even his controlled medication. The best part, when we went in for the cursory visit (only needed since he takes alprazolam and they hadn’t written for him before), we didn’t strop foot inside! My dog has extreme anxiety that’s worsened by an absorption issue in upper gi (which was currently uncontrollabled and unmedicated), and a tech came out saying it was already in their notes that our pup had extreme vet anxiety and offered a “backyard visit”. It was perfect! We walked around to a grassy covered back fenced in yard with nothing in it to make it look like a clinic and the vet examined my dog right there in the grass so he never knew he went to the vet! We left.5 minutes later with the last of his scripts in hand and reassured that there was a group of capable people I could take my dog to while we are here in town waiting for news on our Asheville home! Highly recommend !!!

The staff is so kind and you can tell that they actually really care. The prices are very reasonable as well. We took our German shepherd in for an emergency and they were quick to figure out what was wrong. The doctor explained in detail and gave us our options. Ultimately, we decided that we needed to let her go due to the condition she was in and her age and the doctor and technician we had were amazing. They were so compassionate and made us feel better about the choice we made. They have an awesome after life care company (only going into detail because it may help someone’s decision on if they come here or not but the price is very reasonable, they deliver to your door, the price includes a nice selection of urns, engraving or name plate and a clay paw print there are also other special add ons you can select for a small fee). I can’t say enough great things about our experience and I’m so glad that we happened upon this vet in this difficult time.
Dr. Parrot is a cat whisperer and my cat Tico will literally purr during her exams! She takes the time to explain why things are being done and has the best energy of any Vet Doctor I've ever met. I highly recommend seeing her and Dr. Kelly as well! It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for!

Everyone is so helpful and so friendly! I've now been twice to bath my dog. They did do the nail trim for me but they have everything you need to get your pup clean!
Adrienne was able to squeeze in my 2 dogs, which was amazing because they needed to be groomed badly! I have a Black Lab and a Pitbull. She did an amazing job on both of them! Both look and smelled amazing, so thankful to Adrienne! I will definitely be coming back without a doubt! Check her out, you won’t regret it!
The Island Pawplex did and continues to do an amazing job with our dog. They communicate and make the process very easy. Would recommend them to anyone looking for daycare or boarding.

When visiting James Island, I always have to visit Holy Cow. Love the variety of classes that I've taken this week and the 3 class pass is so great for a vacationer. Looking forward to my next visit. No wonder that Holy Cow is the oldest studio in Charleston, it's a wonderful place to practice.
Not only is Kat a wonderful person, but her pilates instruction is top notch. I was a beginner with an injury and she worked with me to personalize each motion around my bad back. The springboard classes really engage the body in a way that mat work alone cannot. I cannot recommend Kat enough!

I really enjoy going to this studio! You do have to schedule in advance to grab a spot but I can usually get whatever spots I want about 5-7 days out. Parking is super easy in the center it's in but if there's a wreck/backup at 17 and Main, it becomes super hard to get into the lot (nothing the business can handle, just a heads up for planning). The classes have all been challenging but doable and the instructors are all great.

The whole experience of having a massage from Jayya was exceptional. She really takes the time to listen to you, has a beautiful space and is extremely skilled at her craft. The obsidian stones and the singing bowl at the end really took the experience to the next level. I cannot recommend Jayya enough!

I have had multiple sessions with Brooke for massage therapy. Back issues have plagued me most of my life, so I have used massage therapists in many different areas of the country. Here in Charleston, I highly recommend Brooke . She is exceptionally skilled as a therapist, and very professional. She has a calmness about her that puts you at ease, as well as a very sweet and pleasant disposition.

Danica is a miracle worker and I refuse to go anywhere else for a prenatal massage! I am in my 3rd trimester with my 2nd baby and see her weekly. I saw Dr. Rachel for about 6 weeks. My experience was nothing short of enlightening. I injured my shoulder working out, and while recovering from that, I injured my knee running. Before finally caving and calling, I was pessimistic about getting back to the things I loved doing. 6 weeks later, I write this review with no pain and stronger shoulders than ever before. These doctors will make you feel heard, these doctors will work with you on whatever care goal you deem fit. But to take it a step further, doing PT here gives you something even more valuable: perspective and knowledge. I went in doubting my own body, doubting my capacity to heal and flourish, and left with renewed confidence and the knowledge to pull myself back up if I am ever injured again. I came to Emily with a long term issue that prevented me from running at all, within the first month of working with her I was able to get back to running. I loved working with Emily as she was always proactive about making a plan around the goals that I had while ensuring that I was returning to running safely. She was very fun to work with and also took the extra time to explain what was going on with my injury, the best approach to return to running and even explained in detail the exercises we were doing and how they would benefit me.
