annie is incredible! professional, flexible, and a total sweetheart. i had been toying with the idea of having my eyelashes lifted & tinted for a while - extensions are a little too “in your face” for me. i was blown away by how quick this service is, and how long it lasts between sessions. i definitely intend to be a return client for years to come.

I started seeing Alana at Whole You beauty in 2020; and will never see anyone else again. Post some impulsive DIY hair choices; my already thin hair was damaged and broken. I wanted to find someone I could see semi-regularly and sort of nurse it back to health.
I now can proudly say I have long, beautiful, healthy growing hair. No thanks to me. She does beautiful, subtle things to the color as well. She’s incredibly gracious, open to any and all idea's, and recognizes the power hair holds to some of us.
Additionally, I’m quite fond of the experience. While sunlit and in the heart of Wayland square; the location offers a lot more privacy than most salons I’ve been to. This translates to a more custom feeling experience.

Kristen Walsh performed a Vegan QiQu keratin cure and new hairstyle for me. She took her time and listened attentively to clues from my past experiences for a successful outcome. Kristen suggested a long layered cut, just long enough to be pulled back, and she skillfully worked with the best features of my hair while minimizing any trouble areas. I waited a few weeks before writing this review to see how my hair settled into the cut, and I’m pleased to say she did an excellent job. I feel better about myself with a lighter head of hair and a cut that moves with me. St. Germain Studio has a relaxing, cool, clean West Side vibe, not too posh. There is no pressure to upsell products or reschedule. I highly recommend the studio and have had great experiences with both Kristen and Tom. I will remain a loyal, grateful client of SGS.
My daughter and I have both seen Nina for years, and drive down to Providence from Boston since her move because she is so good. She is a careful and thoughtful listener, and getting a cut and color is really a collaborative effort. The studio is bright and beautiful and very personal, which I love. Went here for the first time today cause my buddy recommended them, specifically Leo. My first experience here was fantastic. These guys here are awesome. They were very kind and generous. I was offered some espresso while i was getting my cut. I, of course, accepted because I'm a java junkie haha. My haircut was done by Leo, and I am very happy with the result. I recently cut my Locs and shaved my head. I needed a lineup because I was going to a wedding. I googled "barber shop that cut women's hair" and Smith St came up. After reading through the reviews I decided to call and schedule an appt. Walt answered the phone and got me in within the hour. I was nervous but he listened to my concerns and talked me through each action before cutting to ensure that I was comfortable with what he was doing. He did an amazing job and even gave me a design on the side. He also showed me how to download the app to book online. I highly recommend Smith St Barber to any woman who's rocking a low cut!

It's a little slept-on spot that looks like it's for grannies. Wouldn't have looked at it twice a few years ago, but now that I'm officially middle-aged I gave it a go. Really nice people, super comfortable. I have a weird relationship with my hair and I only ever hope to leave a salon feeling like "it looks okay" but I was HAPPY with the haircut I got from Aldo. That like never happens.

Went with a friend for the water experience on a Monday at 11am. It was our first time here. Treasure checked us in and gave us our tour and our lockers and she was really friendly and helpful. I love how they use reusable water glasses with your assigned locked number on it, I've been to spas before where the plastic disposable cups really add up. I found the locked room to be clean, the locker and shower process to be simple. I personally hated the steam room simply because it's so steamy I couldn't see the other people in there with me and I felt like I couldn't breathe! But that's 100% my personal preference and not the staff. The other tubs and saunas I loved and I found really clean. There were probably only 12 other people in the experience with us, the only time I ever had to wait was for the cold plunge but it was fine because you're only in there for 60 seconds. I could have used a little louder music, as it did sound quite in the main tub areas. I was happy to see they had a hairdryer so I didn't have to leave with wet hair. And for $80 I feel like this was a fun experience to relax every few months. The only reason I took away a star was because they don't have a parking area. It's street parking and when I went, the entire street both sides was no parking per police for work to be done. It just stinks to come out of the experience and you're a bit damp and you have to walk a half mile to whatever side street you ditched your car on. There also wasn't much space to wait, only 2 chairs. So I wouldn't recommend coming early. I was waiting for my friend to finish up in the locker room and I felt like I was in the way and blocking other people since the chairs for the "waiting area" are infront of a workers office. Overall I found it cleaner and more tranquil than the competitor water experience in the state and I would definitely return for a little relax day!
I recently phoned to ask about the piercings, they told me they only do needles and no guns which is absolutely fantastic and shows how well educated the staff are on how damaging guns are.
I unfortunately had no time to visit as I had to return back to the UK, but I will be visiting on my next visit for a piercing. ☺️
I’ve wanted a new tattoo for a while. Today I woke up feeling impulsive and frivolous with money, so I decided it was the perfect day to scratch that itch. I’m new to the area and haven’t gotten tattooed in RI. The first two shops I moped over to were all booked for the day, no walk in availability. Lucky for me, one shop recommended the torchbearer and 3rd time was indeed a charm! Chris tattooed me and it was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had, and I already can’t wait to go back!

I went here recently to get my first tattoo, and Josh was so incredibly kind and helpful. He was super receptive to my ideas and helped me create the perfect design and tattoo. He made sure I was completely comfortable and was very considerate about every possible thing. Not only that, but the prices were more than reasonable! My friend also got his first tattoo there at the same time as mine, and the other employee (I am terrible with remembering names), was just as kind and considerate. I recently went to the Providence Tattoo on Atwells. I walked in with a somewhat crude drawing of the design I wanted and hoped for the best. What I got was a miracle worker who must have read my mind. He (Pat???) inked a gorgeous version of a tattoo that was very important to me. His artistic talent and attention to details, along with his willingness to take the time to REALLY listen to my explanations, resulted in something better than I could have ever imagined.

I reached out for a job and they responded right away. They were at my house within 2 days. They gave me a quote, and I had to go to work. I left the exact amount on the table for them. When I came home, they left 500 dollars and a note saying it wasn’t as much as they thought it would be. I was so shocked - I couldn’t believe they just didn’t go with the price they quoted for me. I would have never known the difference or ever questioned it. It’s hard to find such honest people in today’s day and age. They did great work. Great price , and most importantly - honest and professional. I can’t recommend highly enough !
These guys are awesome we had a house trap and sewer line loaded with roots they showed us on the camera gave us options to replace it or hydro jet it we knew jetting it wasn’t the solution long term our plumber recommended Roto Rooter he also told us that jetting our line was only temprary and doesn’t last. So we decided to make this a one and done job. They set the time for the next morning. 730 am the crews showed up digsafe marked our utilities and shortly after the manager showed up with permit in hand and the work began. By early afternoon the job was completed the city inspector came to view the work gave approval to close the trench. The yard was restored and all was back to normal in less than a day. Incredible work by this team. We appreciate hard work and professionalism. Thanks again guys.

This company and crews did a fantastic job in rebuilding an old room with wood panel/sheet rock underneath and popcorn ceiling. When all was finished you would never know their were dry wall panels on either the ceiling or walls. They were all ceiling a coated in excellent shape. It was scheduled to be done in a week and finished in 3 days.Everyone, including the owner, Rouben Batagian, have a wonderful attitude and exceptional desire to do the very best job I am amazed at their performance. Earl visited the apartment I rented last year to take care of some mice. He also checked out the place for some mysterious creature in the ceiling. I never saw another mouse, and while we didn't figure out what was inside the ceiling, he sealed up the place great and the mystery creature didn't return either. I have been using Aspenn for a few years now. I had them spray for ticks because I had a dog. They call way ahead of scheduled spray so you can plan ahead. They call when on their way so you can close windows and very respectful of my property. Continue to use to this day. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a good dental visit. This was my first time in the office and Mary welcomed me as i walked into the reception area. She was very friendly. Jocelyn was my dental hygienist and she did a very thorough job with the full mouth X-ray, inspection and cleaning. Dr DiPetrillo was also careful and thorough with his exam. I found the experience good and no complaints on my part.

I came to see Griffen Votolato on the recommendation of my oral surgeon. This is quite a young man and a fantastic dentist ! He is kind , considerate , Constantly asks how your doing and feeling etc and he is really gentle, doesn't rush at all and obviously takes great pride in what he does . He explains everything so you can understand easily what he is going to do etc ! I wanted to be the first to leave a review for him ! He certainly deserves my time to leave one ! I am happy , thankful and fortunate to have found my way to him .I have a lot of work that needs to be done and so far it's been a very smooth and easy experience! He also has a fantastic assistant named Jada, They are a great team for sure ! Quality care isn't easy to find but this office excelles at it ! I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I ended up here after many years of not seeing a dentist due to fear and a past traumatic experience. The entire staff - from the office, to the assistant, to the hygienist, to billing, was so understanding and kind to me, something I have never experienced with a dental office. I’ve now had 4 visits here with another on the books and I’m less afraid and more trusting each time. Dr. Napolitano is extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He told me he wanted to break me of my fear of the dentist and I didn’t necessarily think that was possible, but turns out it is. 10/10 recommend for anyone, but especially for folks with a fear of the dentist.

I treated with the same chiropractor for 25 years, so I was devastated when he retired and moved away. And it took me over a year and 4 chiropractors to find one I was happy with. I finally found him at DeCrescenzo Chiropractic! Dr. Frankie is the best. I'd been suffering with a pain like a knife in my shoulder blade for months. He fixed me in one visit! I just saw him again last week with low back pain after a fall and in one visit he relieved 90% of my pain! He is my new chiropractor for life! I can't recommend him and DeCrescenzo highly enough. I recently went for an adjustment and I had a great experience there. Dr. Franzese has magic hands! She provides various kinds of adjustments and ultrasound therapies that are very effective. I have had lower back discomfort for almost two years, on and off. I've had to minimize my yard work to avoid discomfort. So, after my visit the other day, I took advantage of the 70 degree weather and did cleanup of my front yard and picked up three barrels of leaves! And no back discomfort, hip discomfort or tiredness! This is just what the doctor ordered. She is very very good and has strong hands and knows just where to make the adjustment. So glad I found her!!

I always say that I wish our vets could be my “people doctor,” and that’s still true. We’ve been taking our dogs to PRAH since shortly after Dr. Linden opened it about 20 years ago and have always felt the competence and compassion she brought to the practice, whether we were seeing her or other staff.
My elderly cat got out and wandered off and was picked up and delivered to City Kitty to see if he was chipped. I was out of town and they were able to board him until I got back the next morning. He was well cared for and it was a great part of an otherwise unfortunate situation. Thank you!

I've been bringing my cat Maple to City Kitty for nearly 2 years now and really love my experiences there. All the folks there are so caring and kind. Maple has FeLv which unfortunately triggers frequent sick visits, but I always know she's getting quality care.
They listen to concerns, ask questions, and really pay close attention to both the care she needs in the moment and what they may need to check up on from previous visits.
I always appreciate getting the treatment plan estimates beforehand as well.

I've been going to Hoffman's Animal Hospital for some years and have brought several different pets to visit the vet there. I love that it's right up the street from me but also is on the bus line. I have found the Dr to be very professional and courteous as well as proficient in checking my dog over from head to tail. I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a veterinarian to give their pets the shots they need and for any other reason needed. Our pets to us are family and they are aware of this

Though I'd done yoga quite a long time ago, I had never done Iyengar yoga. I've been surprisingly pleased with this different approach, and already find myself carrying what I've learned into my day-to-day. I've had improved posture and self-awareness and feel confident that I'm helping to fend off pains and problems that come with age as I get help undoing bad habits- some of which I didn't even know I had. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and the community is friendly and welcoming.
Absolute 5 star ⭐️ establishment….all of the instructors are unique, and have their own personalities. This makes each class different and challenging. RI Hot Yoga is excellent, they have separate rooms for hot and regular yoga, and the instructors are super nice and very helpful. I had some back and hip issues that I was not able to address through PT, and practicing there has done wonders. Definitely give it a try!
This was my very first time doing Thai bodywork and I completely understand what all the hype is about now. This is the most relaxed and loose I've felt in a very long time. I went in thinking my neck/upper body were my focus spots, but it was pointed out that actually my hips, lower back and hamstrings were significantly tight in comparison. They target your entire body and you can ask for a focus area. You have to really let them take the reins and let your body relax so if you're not okay with people in your personal space then this may not be for you. They will stretch, bend and move your limbs, etc. but are very upfront in asking you to communicate if anything is uncomfortable or anything. I'll absolutely be coming back.
Prepare to be in the hands of an expert. The deep tissue massage I received was truly deep tissue! Many spas/places say deep tissue, but the providers here are on another level. I had some tension + soreness in my body, so there was some discomfort, BUT it was worth it. The woman I worked with was not just a massage therapist but a knowledgeable guide through the anatomy of the whole body, providing me with helpful feedback. She encouraged me to ask for what I needed, fostering a sense of empowerment. This experience gave my mind and body a level of relaxation and calmness I had yet to experience. Thank you, thank you!
Giuseppe helped me with a shoulder injury I sustained when I fell walking my dogs. He is thorough and knows his anatomy. My shoulder locked up and I was unable to lift my arm to put on a jacket. As a side sleeper, I was losing sleep because the injury was on the side I sleep on. After a couple of appointments my pain reduced from a 10 to a 2. I am grateful for the help.

Yvette is a true healer and one of the most calming and generous people I have ever met. She treated me for over seven years, during which I was in graduate school and under extreme stress. She absolutely changed my life and empowered me to take of myself in a whole new way. Yvette treated my chronic migraines with both acupuncture and herbal prescriptions, greatly reducing my pain and frequency. She was also the only medical practitioner who could solve a months-long acid reflux episode (despite the gastroenterologist having previously told me I would have reflux for life!) The only reason I no longer see Yvette is I have moved out of Rhode Island, but I make an appointment whenever I am back in town! I cannot recommend her highly enough.
