Can't say enough about this place. Great selection of flooring to choose from. Tara was a great help as there was so much to choose from. Very patient and offered suggestions which we appreciated. Todd did a great job installing the floors and made a great suggestion when laying the floor in the bathroom. Ed (owner) is also one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. Kudos to all of you. We will definitely be back to do more of our floors.
We had a difficult flooring project that Essis and Sons handled with excellence from start to finish. We wanted to install Cortex LVP flooring over multiple rooms with different existing flooring. Some of the rooms had existing hardwood flooring that was 3/4" higher than the other rooms and had been installed up against existing baseboard and glued down. Essis worked with us to provide solutions to all of our problems, by leveling the flooring with additional subflooring and installing very narrow quarter round molding to maintain the existing baseboard appearance. This resulted in a beautiful seamless flooring application throughout our home.
I'm so glad I found Essis and Sons carpeting in York. I can buy the product anywhere but more importantly I wanted an experienced installer. Ed the owner worked with me and went above expectation to solve how to install luxury vinyl plank on my stairs. Actually I renovated my whole house with luxury vinyl plank and love it! Ed's installer has been with him for 20 years. Can't beat experience!
