“Our 7 year old son has been going for over a year to Pro Martial Fit and he loves it. It really has improved his coordination, confidence and self esteem. He’s not quite ready to take on the neighborhood bully yet, but the messaging of being a considerate, helpful, polite, grateful human being has definitely rubbed off.“

“Master Jasper Silvis runs this Wing Chun Academy. He is an energetic, highly knowledgeable and kind teacher that challenges you to do your best while also providing you support and complimenting you along the way.Si-fu Jasper has created such a welcoming, positive, challenging, and fun environment that I always look forward to coming to class.I look forward to coming to class every time because I know that Si-fu Jasper is going to take his time to expertly explain the moves which we are learning and go into detail about how they are used and why.The techniques which we are being taught vary greatly, are perfectly applicable in self-defense to give you the upper hand, and are also a great deal of fun to practice. The students that attend are also great people, and it feels like coming home whenever I go.I highly recommend to everyone that is seeking to learn martial arts to join this academy. “We have been training under Master Marino for several years -- everyone in our family. We are very happy with the level of skill and training Master Marino demonstrates, and has done an excellent job in developing his students. AmKor has a tremendous and well justified reputation in Tang Soo Do community. I'd highly recommend them to anyone for either their children or their own personal development.“

“I started at Elite to learn practical self-defense before traveling for a new job. What I didn’t expect was to pick up skills that could save my life from day 1, be welcomed by a team of some of the greatest men and women I have ever met, become stronger both physically and mentally, and discover a new version of myself. The training offered here is one of a kind! All instructors and students are dedicated. The facility is operated at a high standard for health and safety. Yet somehow maintains the most laid-back environment! No matter what your starting point or reason for coming, you will not regret training here.“

“Action Karate in Manayunk is the best place I could have found for my 5yo son. The location is convenient for us, the staff is great and super patient, and they offer ways to involve the parents with their child or children like assistant coaching. They offer workout classes during the holidays for the parents as well as holiday gatherings for everyone. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to enroll your child into karate. You will not be disappointed.“

“We are on our third month at Action Karate and we love it here! The teachers go out of their way to connect with each student to make them feel their best during each class. They make it a fun experience for the kids in a healthy, competitive way that really encourages the students to work hard to achieve their goals. My son walks out of class with a confidence I have never seen before which I am forever thankful for. Thank you specifically to Ms. Raya, Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Wild for making Noah's experience at Action Karate Main Line so special. I also really appreciate all the amazing habits and manners they are instilling in the students, yet in a fun way that resonates with the kids.“

“This little Dojo on Philly Pike has been a real blessing for this community. A boot-strap, no plastic, no filler school that teaches kids and adults the values of Bushido through the art of Karate. (Bushido philosophy is akin to western Stoic values that highlight self-control and the service to others as virtues). We enrolled- our now 9 yr old- less than a year ago, and have watched him grow physically, mentally and incrementally disciplined with the help of the Shihan Graves, Senpei Melissa, Sensei Caputo, John and other student leaders. **Everyone is welcome here regardless of race, age, gender or identity. This Dojo has Heart.“

“We have really enjoyed Miloki Flow. My twins are 7 and have a lot of energy to burn. They have learned discipline, Jiu Jitsu technique and have had fun and made friends along the way. The teachers are well versed in kids and know how to bring out the best in them.“

“Everyone is very nice and the owner is the best. He truly loves his job and loves working with children. He also has a lot of experience working with children. Being a teacher myself I know either you are have the gift or you don’t and children can tell when you don’t care. I foresee him needing to get a bigger building or adding Friday and or Saturday to the class schedule if the school keeps growing at the rate that it has. I’ve become friends with other parents and it’s a comfortable environment. (Reason I gave 4.5 stars is )We need a spectator booth or upper level like in swim classes so that the children don’t get distracted by the parents “new parents” that don’t know not to baby them and not get involved while the instructor is trying to redirect them. There can’t be to sheriffs. It makes it harder for the instructor to assert his authority so that the child can mature. If the child keeps running back to mommy’s lap he’ll never progress. If you’re that type of parent it’s probably better to drop them off after the first class (like school/daycare) so the children can adjust and mature because you’re not going to be able to hold their hand forever especially if you have a son. It would be a waste of money if he’s on your lap the whole class. My daughter tried to pull that baby stuff but I knew what to do. Thank you! Kadiyah’s Mom.“

“Attended a kids birthday party here with my daughter. It was different but I liked it and my daughter loved it. Very big inside. There's a separate party room. Very clean inside and for a place that everyone has to take their shoes off, it does not smell at all. I recommend it.“

“Mr. A, Gia and Matthew are phenomenal! We had a fantastic experience while with the team. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state, otherwise this would have been a long term commitment. The focus on respect, discipline, and teamwork is beyond compare. Amazed at the patience the team has and how beautifully everything is executed. We will miss them dearly and thank them for the confidence we see in our son since joining!“

“My son started attending Karate at Martial Arts of South Jersey the first of this year and we absolutely love it! 4 1/2 months in and I have already seen a wonderful change and growth in him. He does a better job listening and following instructions as well as showing respect. I feel like he has learned about setting goals, working hard, and also improved his confidence. It has also sparked a new interest in him of getting stronger and making healthy choices which I love to see. Instructor Amy is wonderful and I would recommend this program to any parent!“
