“We absolutely love ECKI ! My oldest son has been going there for a few months and enjoys the challenge of learning a new skill. The instructors are absolutely phenomenal with their gentle guidance of the students. My daughter recently joined as well because we enjoyed it so much!I love that they are helping instill confidence, dedication and other important core values. I can not recommend this studio enough if you are looking for an activity for your child/ren. Absolutely wonderful team!!“
“Great place for kids to train. Excellent staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Flexible options.“
“The best Martial Arts school in West Chester area! Excellent instructors and atmosphere.“
“The best decision I’ve made for my daughter, I’ve seen such a difference in her confidence in the last few weeks! She’s learning a lot and making friends. She loves class and her instructors!“
“Learning karate at AmKor has been great for my teen. The school offers beginner classes for older students and adults, which is terrific. It’s a disciplined atmosphere focused on learning, yet so friendly and welcoming. My child feels confident and valued in the diverse community, and she learns something new and exciting in every class!“
“PMA Is a good self defence training place for all kids and my son said he likes sparring.“
“Wonderful place to build your kid's focus and confidence! My teenager has been there for 3 years and he's a quiet kid but he loves sharing his new moves with me and his grandparents and it helps us engage with him at this age. It has built his confidence at school and walking around the city. Sensei is a great role model, professional and family focused. I highly recommend Karate Kickers with no question.“
“My two boys have been going to Master Taekwondo for almost a year and really enjoy training under Master Phil. Having come from another Taekwondo studio in another state, we have been very pleased with the no-nonsense approach here. This is a great place to learn and develop...while having fun. I highly recommend Master Taekwondo.“
“Pope Karate Institute is no doubt the greatest martial arts and physical training facility in the tristate area. Not only does their training curriculum cater to physical fitness, but mental wellness as well, teaching discipline, values and building character.“
“The instructor is very knowledgeable and highly skilled in the traditional and self defense aspect of karate. Students are very fortunate to have the instructor like this.“
“I watched my grandson develop and blossom under your guidance. I love the teaching of respect for others that is always there.“
“We transferred to Action Karate Plymouth Meeting when we moved from out of state. They are a family run dojo and did an amazing job of acclimating our student and allowed him to utilize the belt level he was currently at to start. We love that all of their katas are taught in practical terms of self defense. They also discuss value lessons weekly, where they go over characteristics of leadership, gratitude, goal setting, (we especially love that students are required to set goals so they can see progress). After a year here, our son is also now learning how to become a sensi (teach).I cannot thank them enough for how they are helping him to grow as a person and how welcome we always feel. They feel like part of our family.“
“My daughter has attended RMAI for almost 6 years. It has been wonderful to watch her develop not only her martial arts skills, but also her confidence, persistence, and growth mindset. She also has a lot of fun! We have been thrilled with the organization and her progress!“
“Our 7 year old son has been going for over a year to Pro Martial Fit and he loves it. It really has improved his coordination, confidence and self esteem. He’s not quite ready to take on the neighborhood bully yet, but the messaging of being a considerate, helpful, polite, grateful human being has definitely rubbed off.“
“Best place around, very authentic boxing gym. Great atmosphere. All coaches there have pro-cards. I train here a few days a week. Love being pushed to work hard. Live sparring is my favorite part. Definitely recommend coming here it you want to learn the sport of boxing.“
“A judo dojo where a 63-year old is welcomed and feels healthier than ever after 6 months of training must be something special. MLJ has a friendly atmosphere where you can learn judo at your own pace. The instructors don't teach only techniques but also safety so you can come back for more. Join us.“
“Nackord Karate is the BEST. They give attentive attention to each child making them feel special and confident. My daughter Sadie is now OBSESSED and wants to go everyday. Great instilling the fundamentals for self control, self defense, and respect.“
“Wonderful. I’ve been doing this since i was seven years old. I am a black belt now. The staff and instructors are very nice and patient while somewhat strict as well.“
“Master Jasper Silvis runs this Wing Chun Academy. He is an energetic, highly knowledgeable and kind teacher that challenges you to do your best while also providing you support and complimenting you along the way.Si-fu Jasper has created such a welcoming, positive, challenging, and fun environment that I always look forward to coming to class.I look forward to coming to class every time because I know that Si-fu Jasper is going to take his time to expertly explain the moves which we are learning and go into detail about how they are used and why.The techniques which we are being taught vary greatly, are perfectly applicable in self-defense to give you the upper hand, and are also a great deal of fun to practice. The students that attend are also great people, and it feels like coming home whenever I go.I highly recommend to everyone that is seeking to learn martial arts to join this academy. Traditional Wing Chun is one of THE BEST forms of martial arts and Si-fu Jasper is an EXCELLENT teacher.“
“I trained there quite some time ago and only for a few months before switching to jiujitsu. This is definitely the place to go in the area to learn Judo. Just Judo and nothing else. So don't go in expecting to pick up the newest slick MMA techniques. Sensei K is a tough guy to like but I don't think you should like your sensei at first. Anyway, great place, and I hope they're doing well!!! Oh and it was full of kids too, so start your kids here then send them to flashy BJJ school“
“We are very impressed with this school and the Masters are so patient with the young children and kind. Highly recommend.“
“I really love this gym. It's an intimate space with a great community feel. They have a consistent and professional team of PTs who create a positive environment for all levels of fitness. Membership pricing is also very competitive. Check it out. Highly recommended“
“We have been training under Master Marino for several years -- everyone in our family. We are very happy with the level of skill and training Master Marino demonstrates, and has done an excellent job in developing his students. AmKor has a tremendous and well justified reputation in Tang Soo Do community. I'd highly recommend them to anyone for either their children or their own personal development.“
“Ross Lindy provides a fantastic school to teach martial arts. The investment in my son has been well worth it.“
“I started at Elite to learn practical self-defense before traveling for a new job. What I didn’t expect was to pick up skills that could save my life from day 1, be welcomed by a team of some of the greatest men and women I have ever met, become stronger both physically and mentally, and discover a new version of myself. The training offered here is one of a kind! All instructors and students are dedicated. The facility is operated at a high standard for health and safety. Yet somehow maintains the most laid-back environment! No matter what your starting point or reason for coming, you will not regret training here.“
