“Dave from Radical Restorations was out to dinner but he still answered my call. I was a concerned parent who’s daughters friend just experienced the most horrible trauma and family tragedy - suicide in the family home.I was doing whatever I could to help the family get back in thier house as quick as possible. They didn’t have much help. Police cleared the home and advised they could go back in, but how, the scene was gruesome to say the least.The first time I spoke to dave he asked out renters insurance and other questions. I got answers from the family and called dave back. Worst part was there was no insurance and no money to hire dave. I just called to see if he could recommend some chemicals I could purchase to help with the clean up before heading over with my daughter and husband to begin this awful task.Dave asked for the location and I begrudgingly gave him a vague description. He offered to come out and take a look. I again reminded him of our lack of funds. He insisted and before hanging up reminded me again to text the full address. We arrived and dave actually beat us there!!Side note…as a child I lost my own father to suicide and mentioned this through my tears to dave on one of our phone calls.He offered to go in first to assess. My husband followed him. The two of them completed all the clean up together. I kept telling dave to just give us some advice. Again he insisted.It wasn’t a long clean up surprisingly and dave was loading up some items in my truck. I walked up to him and profusely thanked him for being such an amazing human. He said no one should have to witness that and clean it up. I’m sure dave is a little more desensitized to all this seeing how he’s in the business. He was so kind, funny and honorable. We scrounged together what little cash we had for a tip. He handed me a business card and just requested for a good review for his business.Well I’ve never been more excited to give back just a small favor in comparison to what dave did for us that night.Words can’t express how thankful we all are for your help and kindness.While I hope we don’t need Dave’s services again. “We had a pipe burst in the middle of the night and we discovered it in the early morning. I called Servpro in Adamstown, the owner Kevin Paul answered, I saw they give 24hr service and proceeded to explain what had happened in the basement. He was so amazing and understanding and knew we were upset, of course, so he sent Nick Romaninsky out with his crew which consisted of another Nick, Justin and Albert. They were so reassuring and efficient, they went to work immediately to remove the water and the damage. They were very careful with all of our belongings and by the end of the day they had everything under control. Kevin had already spoken to our insurance company and had a claim# as well as a approval. The same guys came out again to remove insulation and sheetrock damaged by the water. Another person from our insurance company called to tell us it was not approved which sent me into a panic attack. I was unable to get up the steps on my own in the middle of the attack and Nick R was very soothing talking me down and he literally grabbed me and took me up stairs where my husband was.
