My child has taken piano and violin lessons here at Chestnut Hill Music Academy. The teachers here are great at meeting the student where they are at and getting them engaged in the instruments. My child was able to learn how to play music and read music with one instructor which helps to tie everything together, especially when you're really new at the instruments. It's always our first choice for music lessons in the area.
Update:2023Our son is now a Junior in high school and college prep and other studies have taken over his schedule. He will need to pause his formal music education for awhile, but the time spent at Chestnut Hill Music Academy was worth it!We are so thankful for the many years of dedication by his instructors and for making music education fun.He can now play the drums, guitar, a little piano, and recently added Tuba and handbells as part of his continuing music participation in school. at age 6 my daughter started taking piano lessons thru CH Music Academy. her teachers helped her learn the fundamentals and gain confidence. the annual holiday concert in Dec was always a special event to showcase the talents of all the kids. lovely beginner experience for our daughter. would recommend to anyone who is looking to start their child in music - piano, voice, guitar, violin, drums
