Dr. Verna is hands down the best eye doctor I've ever worked with, and I've been wearing glasses since I was about 8 years old.Today, I brought my husband along for his first-ever eye doctor appointment, and we had our three kids with us (ages 1, 2, and 3). From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, which is no small feat when you have three little ones in tow.The staff even gave each of our kids a pair of complimentary sunglasses, which they absolutely loved. It was such a thoughtful touch and really helped keep them entertained during our visit.I had assured my husband that Dr. Verna is the best in the business. After today, he wholeheartedly agrees. But the biggest reason I keep coming back is the integrity of the doctor.In all my years of visiting eye doctors, I have never encountered a doctor as ethical and honest as the one at this office. Dr. Verna gave me hope when she told me that it's possible for eyes to improve. I've been wearing glasses and contacts since the fourth grade, and every year, my prescription would increase at other offices. Even when I told other doctors that I didn't think an increase was necessary, they would ignore me. The result? Headaches for months on end because the strength was too high.But Dr.Verna listened to me and told me that my eyes had improved, so my prescription needed to be adjusted to a little less than it's been all these years. She also takes considerable time and patience, scarce commodities nowadays.
