I always wait to leave a review to give me time to really evaluate the work. I am really excited to say that every detail of the job they performed is still 100% perfect. I have yet to find an issue that needs additional attention or fixing. The job performed was executed with precision and attention to detail. My contacts were Anthony D., the Ops Manager and Dave R, the Project Manager. Both were consistently professional and courteous. They partnered with me on every design detail and responded to my inquiries quickly. They dealt with all the permit and township requirements, responded to all insurance paperwork for me and even stopped by my job to have me sign paperwork so I wouldn't be inconvenienced. “David Wickes has done many projects, large and small, around our house. Like many homes in the area, age has caused everything in our house, including floors, walls, and door openings, to go slightly off-kilter. David is always keenly aware of the special issues that an older home presents when repairs or renovations are involved. He replaced our ugly, drafty, metal front door with a beautiful triple pane glass and wood door; he patiently figured out how to hang the new door properly in our slanted door opening. He also replaced a slipshod folding closet door that had been installed during an earlier renovation with a set of bespoke solid wood doors. David seems to take great joy in tracking down the perfect crystal doorknob or time-period appropriate moulding to make our house look its best. (He is also good at reparing damage inflicted on that beautiful moulding by exuberant puppies). I highly recommend David!“

“Highly recommend these folks. A very big undertaking in a unique, old house where the initial ask was to take down the drop ceiling, install a new ceiling, and paint. They were very accommodating with a last minute ask of demo and replacing/ reconstructing drywall to better accommodate cabinetry, found a few areas where the previous owners cut corners (thereby exposing safety risks) and addressed them! Previously, the main bedroom area looked sad (like a bed in an old office because of the dropped ceiling) now this room is so beautiful, I feel the house has been significantly upgraded, and I am so proud to walk people through this area.“

“Back in February, we had the pleasure of having Pen Val handle some work in our back bedroom. We had previously experienced leaks in the roof that were never properly dealt with, and as such, the ceiling was stained and damaged. The guys from Pen Val came out, assessed the situation and got to work. They kept things clean and kept us abreast of the work being done. They were friendly and really just a joy to deal with. “ServiceMaster By Artec is absolutely the company that I would recommend to anyone in need of restoration work. I had a plumbing issue that led to a much larger issue. ServiceMaster came out right away and got the water cleaned up and got the mitigation squared away immediately. When it was time for the restoration work to begin, they were fast, professional, communicative, and did a great job. Within seven days, carpentry/drywall work was done, flooring was done, and painting was done. At one point, we hit a snag with a leaky pipe, and rather than telling me that I had to have a plumber come out, the project manager came out and took a look at it himself, and was able to easily resolve the issue, without the need for the added expense of a plumber, which appreciate beyond words. They were absolutely wonderful, and though I hope I never find myself in a situation in which I need them again, they are who I would call, in a heartbeat.“

“We hired Advanced Mold Diagnostics to inspect our newly purchased home. They were prompt, professional and extremely detail oriented. They looked at every square inch of house and found what the source of our mold problems were. They gave my husband and I so much information about building that I felt like I was taking an engineering course.
We also hired them to inspect our stucco and find out why the windows were leaking. After nearly four hours and a very thick report we found the stucco wasn't put on correctly and needed to be fixed.
