“Soooooooo, let's start with the fact that I was TERRIFIED of chiropractors. Was not going to go near one..EVER. Next, and most importantly, I have fibromyalgia, so, sometimes, even thinking hurts, let alone a chiropractic adjustment. One afternoon I was having a conversation in his general vicinity and found out that Dr. Powell was a chiropractor! I politely told him, "You're nice and all, but you DO know I'm not going to see you, right? I don't do chiropractors." He just smiled, handed me his card, and said, "Call on Monday, and speak to Jane, my receptionist." So, I did, and made an appointment for Tuesday. I go into the office Tuesday (Jane is SUPER nice, btw), and I fill out some paperwork. He takes me back and does this assessment, and sets up an appointment for the next day to go over my results. I come back and we go over them all, and he customizes an adjustment schedule to fit MY needs and MY comfort level. He walks me through to the exam room, and asks me if I had a bad experience, and I flat out told him that I had never been because all of that cracking freaks me out-it turns out that what I thought I was my body was just the table moving! Dr. Powell is an amazingly understanding doctor. He goes at the pace that is comfortable for you. All of my fellow fibro sufferers-if you've ever had a bad experience with a chiropractor, I encourage you to give it one more go with Dr. Powell. It may seem like it's not working at first, but I promise, you will start to feel better! I am Team Wellness Pittsburgh!!“

“Dr. Rob is an amazing practitioner! I've seen a handful of acupuncturists throughout the years with varying degrees of success, but Dr. Rob is incredibly skilled. His diagnostic process is spot on, he listens to both what the body and the person is saying to develop an effective treatment plan. I initially went to see him for some sleep issues and depression and within a month he had me feeling like a different person. He is more than happy to discuss and explain any of the modalities and treatments and he does so with an absolutely charming disposition. He also is incredibly honest and provides opportunity for you to weigh in on your progress and treatment plan (ie he won't tell you to come more than necessary). He is also very present during consults making sure he takes the time needed to answer questions and make you feel like you are getting his full attention.The practice has easy online appointment scheduling which is an added bonus and ample easy parking out front. The office itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming and while I've had minimal contact with other staff those small encounters have been pleasant.Note that if you have mobility constraints to access the office requires navigating a few stairs down (with handrails) once you enter the building. I'm not sure if there is an alternate entrance.Go ahead and schedule for anything that ails you!“

“Before Dr. Pint, I was seeing another chiropractor for a year or so with no results. I was frustrated because I felt the other chiropractor didn’t really listen to me about my pain and just gave me a few “basic cracks” and sent me on my way. When I would come back and still complain of the same pain the guy would just look at me and shrug his shoulders. I knew then I needed someone different. Immediately from walking into the door Dr. Pint handled everything differently. He listened to the pain I was having and explained to me about the “zones”, which I had never heard of before, and from there a plan was set up to correct the situation. Every session the basic adjustments were addressed but also more focused adjustments as well. Now my neck and shoulder pain is at a minimum and my 3-4 TMJ related headaches that I would get weekly is now down to zero! Thank you Dr. Pint!“
