Great class structure and many to choose from: morning, afternoon and evening. I love getting my cardio in, in a safe and comfortable environment while learning a few self-defense techniques. If you're a woman and have been thinking about joining a gym, come here!! It'll be the best decision you make!“

109 Allison Rd, Oreland“My kids started at Action Karate Oreland at either 3 or 4 years old. I wanted them to do an activity that teaches them the importance of discipline, respect, focus, and fitness. I have been amazed seeing their growth since joining as some can imagine keeping toddlers still for even a minute can be a challenge. I even became a member myself after months of my son asking me to join him on the mat. It's given us another thing to bond over. I've been enjoying the adult classes as it's introduced me to other wonderful people while learning moves and self defense. We work hard but also have fun and laugh. It has been a great stress relief and gives me a much needed break from work. I always feel great and more relaxed and calm after each class. I highly recommend Action Karate Oreland.“

I highly recommend Master Taekwondo.“

I plan to continue with it til the day I die, and push my self to endless limits. Master Smith has saved my life in a way and has been a second father to my daughter (6 year student). I owe a great deal of growth and direction to him and the ATA program!“

917 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley“Action Karate Huntingdon Valley is top-notch when it comes to introducing your children (and the entire family) to karate and martial arts. In addition to developing the expected physical skills of karate, my kids are learning to focus, help others, have discipline and respect, be good listeners, and never give up. We are at Action Karate several times a week - the improvements and skills my kids are learning is quite impressive. I also have to mention all tiers of the instructors there who are world-class when it comes to karate, and also when it comes to having patients and knowing just how to address the varying personalities of all of the little kids to are taking this first step into the martial arts. 110% Recommended!“

1980 Butler Pike, Conshohocken“We transferred to Action Karate Plymouth Meeting when we moved from out of state. They are a family run dojo and did an amazing job of acclimating our student and allowed him to utilize the belt level he was currently at to start. We love that all of their katas are taught in practical terms of self defense. They also discuss value lessons weekly, where they go over characteristics of leadership, gratitude, goal setting, (we especially love that students are required to set goals so they can see progress). After a year here, our son is also now learning how to become a sensi (teach).I cannot thank them enough for how they are helping him to grow as a person and how welcome we always feel. They feel like part of our family.“

1551 S Valley Forge Rd, Lansdale“I am amazed of how well my 4 yr old does in this class! The amount of patience and dedication the senseis have towards the kids are beyond my expectations! That explains why I don't mind having the 30+ min drive to her to her classes bc they make us feel like we part of their family! Def recommended for kids of all ages but just know your kids will leave out of there with full of confidence, respect, and structure ❤️“

2278 N Penn Rd, Hatfield“Instructors are great. They show great patience and are very encouraging. Definitely recommended.“
“Excellent Aikido school. If you're new to Aikido and feeling nervous, Aikido Kenkyukai is a great place to start. Since starting Aikido in 2007, I've trained in Dojos all across the country and as a result have met many Aikido teachers and schools. Kenkyukai is a seamless blend of authentic adherence to Aikido, with a light and welcoming atmosphere. At many dojos, this is like oil and vinegar - either too light hearted, or so serious you risk injury. I'm happy I started training here, and while I've taken various breaks from Aikido, am glad that I've jumped back in.“
5:30 - 9PM
580 Shoemaker Rd, King of Prussia“It is simply wonderful. They take 80 dollars per month and every week you can attend 6 classes so you can make your kids busy .My kid enjoy the classes here. He recently got his black belt too ? . If you pay for your kid it is free for mom and dad . The instructors are really great and strict . On a whole this is the best place .“
5 - 9PM
1047 W County Line Rd, Warminster“After training for 8 years at a family style MMA dojo nearby, I switched over to Bucks County Krav Maga and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. All of the instructors have years of experience training in Krav Maga, and that is the only style they teach. The instructors at the MMA place took a "weekend certification" course and call themselves Krav Maga Alliance but none of the instructors every had any formal training nor belt ranks in Krav Maga, and most of what they teach is still MMA. It takes years, not a weekend, to learn this well enough to teach it.“
9AM - 9PM
303 W Butler Ave, Chalfont“Action Karate Chalfont is a first-rate program. The environment is challenging while being very supportive; an attractive feature for both novice and experienced martial artists of any age. Having practiced martial arts for 30+ years with several organizations, I find the philosophy and methods at AKC to be the best I've encountered. Ms. Krista and Mr. Mark and the other instructors are skilled, first-rate instructors who bring the necessary experience, patience and positive focus to provide students with the best learning experience.“
“I have trained with Richard Robinson sensei for over 20 years, and have visited his dojo when I am in PA many, many times. This is a great place to learn and train in martial arts. Robinson sensei has Black Belts in multiple styles, and is a most talented instructor in Nami ryu Aiki Heiho. The folks in the dojo are great to train with. There are a handful of instructors who share decades of experience in this dojo. If you like swords, jujutsu, and samurai lore, and live in the Philly/Ft. Washington area, you want to check out the River of Life Martial Arts \\u0026 Wellness Center.“
