“Update:2023Our son is now a Junior in high school and college prep and other studies have taken over his schedule. He will need to pause his formal music education for awhile, but the time spent at Chestnut Hill Music Academy was worth it!We are so thankful for the many years of dedication by his instructors and for making music education fun.He can now play the drums, guitar, a little piano, and recently added Tuba and handbells as part of his continuing music participation in school. “My daughter has been taking classes and lessons at Settlement going on 5 years now. She’s also in the youth choir. They offer financial aid and run a preschool program. The teachers are top notch and the school as a whole provides a nice sense of community. Though a lot of the instruction is classical oriented—and that may be a newcomer’s takeaway after looking through the website, my daughter plays folk and rock mostly. Anything goes, just let them know what you want/need.“
