“David Wickes has done many projects, large and small, around our house. Like many homes in the area, age has caused everything in our house, including floors, walls, and door openings, to go slightly off-kilter. David is always keenly aware of the special issues that an older home presents when repairs or renovations are involved. He replaced our ugly, drafty, metal front door with a beautiful triple pane glass and wood door; he patiently figured out how to hang the new door properly in our slanted door opening. He also replaced a slipshod folding closet door that had been installed during an earlier renovation with a set of bespoke solid wood doors. David seems to take great joy in tracking down the perfect crystal doorknob or time-period appropriate moulding to make our house look its best. (He is also good at reparing damage inflicted on that beautiful moulding by exuberant puppies). I highly recommend David!“

“I recently had new 6k gutters and gutter guards installed by Guardian Roofing and Siding and I couldn't be happier. My first contact was with Chris Cramer, my sales rep. He measured out the job, and showed me all of my options and what the cost would be. Everything was clearly laid out in the contract and we set up a date. On the day of the job not only the crew, but Bob the owner and Chris were on the site. The crew was professional and efficient and the job was done within three hours, start to cleanup. The gutters look and work great! They were incredible to work with and I highly recommend them.“

“We called Moisture Master Pros to detect where our water leaks were coming from after various "professionals" came and failed. The technician, Josh, was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, very patient at explaining everything to us and answering all our questions. We couldn't be happier with Josh. The report was thorough and clearly explains which actions we need to take to fix our current problems and prevent potential new ones. The only tiny complain is that the report was later than they promised, and we had to ask a couple of times, but the office was responsive and professional. We will start addressing all MMP's recommendations and we hope this will finally solve our water leak issues. As of now, we definitely recommend MMP!“

“Last week we had Servpro come out to take care of a toilet leak! They were extremely helpful with getting a pkumber onsite and within an hour they were onsite and had everything cleaned up. I could not thank Steve, Cj enough, they were knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable! Paula in the office was also a huge help! “I needed someone to come look at our expensive new alleged basement mold remediation that had been done by another company. The other company sent an 18 year old to go into my basement and spray some Boric Acid solution (of all things). I immediately had a real sinking feeling that I'd been ripped off. I ended up calling Bulldog on the weekend, and Zach answered the phone! He was very pleasant on the phone, professional and courteous. He listened to my horror story, and I could tell he understood just how ripped off I was, perhaps. So, today he came and did his "own" inspection and pretty much agreed with me; I'd been had! Now sent tests to see if they really did anything effective at all. I would highly recommend Bulldog, based on what I know of them so far. Only (minor, minor, minor) issue- they require a call to confirm the visit the day of the scheduled appointment. Somehow, when you book an appointment online (for a specified day/time) it is confirmed and an email is sent. Caution: if you don't respond to their call the day of the appointment, they will NOT dispatch the technician/plumber. Only complaint is the fact that they don't seem to explain that on their website! (I know now) When I get an email message saying "appointment confirmed", I (incorrectly) assume that the appointment is confirmed. Beware- that is not the case! Oh, and to add to the confusion, the confirmation call seems to come from strange, non-local area code which my cell phone interprets as "Scam Likely", only it is not.

Again, it's a minor issue. Their service is too good to hold it against them.

Otherwise, they are TERRIFIC! Small jobs/big jobs they are knowledgable and most importantly HONEST. That has been my experience.“
