“Sunmoon has asked me to convey his satisfaction with the service received during his resent visit to Hamilton and also that he thoroughly enjoys the Ladies making fuss over him.
Meow! Meow!“
“I have had a wonderful experience every time I’ve visited Family Pet Clinic. Everyone is so friendly when they greet you and the vets and techs are great. I appreciate how they get right down on the floor to comfort your pet when they are stressed. They truly go the extra mile!“
“Thank you very much! Very qualified, attentive and polite staff.
Thank you very much! Very qualified, attentive and polite staff.“
“I love Rhawnhurst Animal Hospital. My dog Charlie is not easy to deal with. Dr. Cantor is an amazing vet who works well with all the animals. I trust this vet and all the associates. Thank you all at Rhawnhurst Animal Hospital.“
“Dr Wade is top notch! We brought our new dog in for a first visit and Dr Wade took her time explaining things and giving us tips. She was unbelievably patient and understanding before AND after our dog bit her. We were mortified but Dr Wade remained calm and vigilant. She taught us so much in such a short period of time. We love Dr Wade! (Picture was before things went south?) *off to obedience training*“
“Wonderful with my Bunny! A very thorough and gentle evaluation. Left with a clear protocol with instructions and tips, treating the concern at hand. Highly recommend!“
“Heart and Paw Callowhill is the best place in the city for grooming and vet needs! Amazing staff! I have gotten my dog groomed as well as had him get his yearly vaccines for 3 years here! 10 out of 10 !“
“Dr. G and his team are amazing! I have a reptile, a leopard gecko named Tootsie, and Dr. G is the second vet I have visited to help with an eating issue.Just for a comparison, the first vet I went to felt extremely rushed (he saw multiple animals at once) and was very intimidating (not very sympathetic to my pet's issue). The solution my previous vet gave me ended up hurting my baby more so I was very nervous to seek out another vet.Dr. G and his team are the complete opposite. They see each animal one at a time, are informative, and truly care about each pet! From my past experience, I was scared to give Tootsie antibiotic injections (she is a special case) and they let me bring her in every three days for them to give her the medicine instead of me. My girl is still a WIP but the entire team is very dedicated to getting her better and I am so happy I chose to go here! I wish i did from the beginning.“
“My parents have been taking our pets to BRAH since we lived in Feasterville years ago.. I now live in Richboro and, even though there are plenty of vets closer, I take my own pets to BRAH because I am so pleased with them.“
“Great vets and good pricing. They just need better hours and an easier way to get ahold of them. I’ve called 20+ times and it won’t go through because they’re on the line with someone else… “your call can not be completed as dialed as the party your calling is busy”“
“We took our beagle here for her annual checkup, and we were blown away by how friendly, knowledgeable, and caring the staff were. They took great care of our pup and we were very pleased with the cost. We've experienced scare tactics from other vets trying to get us to pay for a buncha tests that weren't necessary. That was not the case at Companion, they were reasonable and helpful and overall awesome. Companion is 1000% our new vet, our dog loves them and so do we!“
“I've taken multiple pets here. They are very good about helping the animals (and owners!) feel comfortable and relaxed. They really seem to know what they're doing, genuinely care, and the prices are reasonable.Best to make an appt ahead of time.“
“This is my mom's vet and she's been very happy with them. County Line Vets have seen my pup twice now when I've been visiting from FL. They were courteous and prompt and made a stressful situation smooth. I appreciate the quick scheduling because my dog was in a great deal of pain. The treatment was conservative and effective. Cost was reasonable as well.
I highly recommend this practice.“
“Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, who take the time to explain everything and answer all questions. The price was reasonable, and they were upfront about costs ahead of time. Highly recommend!“
“The staff at wissahickon have been amazing dealing with me and my helicopter pet mom ways! My cat, Romeo would probably not bring alive if it wasn't for Dr. Yard's suggestion to go the Metropolitan Veterinary for his IBD. Romeo is currently dealing with a respiratory infection and arthritis and the doctors and staff have been so patient with me emailing them almost every day.
Thank you from Christina and Romeo!“
“If you're in need of honest pricing and a great experience, look no further. I have an approx. 7yo 83lbs pit mix that was sick and needed bloodwork/testing done. Came to Cottman Animal Hospital as a first time patient and was blown away with the experience as a whole. The staff is just amazing, friendly, understanding, and compassionate. I was able to get my dog all the help he needed for his health and fill meds on site. I will be surely returning with him for any needs he has in the future.
Thank you, Cottman Animal Hospital from Baci the bully and myself!!!“
“It would be hard to find a group of people more kind, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Fishtown Animal Hospital and their associated organization Fishtails.“
“Responsive, reasonably priced, and excellent care. I needed to have my cat seen on very short notice and they were able to squeeze me in same day. Very grateful for their weekend hours.“
“Dear Dr Brett Geffen and the Wonderf staff at Boulevard Animal Hospital.
I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the care and love you provided to Kobe and his family throughout his last few months of life. Your kindness, support, and dedication during last hours of illness and especially in Kobe's final moments meant the world to me.
Losing Kobe has been incredibly difficult, but knowing that he was in the hands of such compassionate and skilled individuals brings me, my sister and Fredy comfort.
Freddie referred me to a place that provided my baby gentle care made such a difference in in my life and family. I am forever grateful for the warmth and support and HUGS you extended to all of us!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you did for Kobe's family and for being there for us during this transition and difficult time. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Love always KOBE Dad and his Liceaga family!“
“My cat was having an asthma attack. If you call for a problem like this and let them you that you are on the way, they will take care of you in less time. The doctor and the front desk was really helpful. My cat improved immediately after the vet care and they even asked to let them know the next day how my cat was doing. Sometimes they are too busy and there is many people in front of you, but for this problem they made an exception. I only have good experiences here (I have a cat only. I don't know about the dog experiences).“
“Always kind and gentle with my 90# Bull Terrier who is horribly afraid of car rodes and the vet.“
“Our normal vet was unable to see our dog when she was sick because her illness was above what they could handle. Horsham Veterinary Hospital offered a same day appointment with Dr. Balandovich. After her visit, she had to be seen elsewhere for higher level services and the staff found an appointment for her for the next day (we didn’t have to call ourselves). We unfortunately had to put her to sleep a few days later due to how ill she was and Horsham offered an appointment with Dr. Balandovich again the same day. They were kind to our family during a very difficult time and walked us through the process so we knew what to expect. I would recommend this veterinary practice.“
“My dog was very sick when I brought her in to be evaluated. She had to be there for 7 days and had to have 3 blood transfusions. Dr. Wallace and Jesse took such good care of my girl. I can’t say enough about how well my girl was cared for by them. I am so grateful I was able to bring her home that she recovered and for everyone at this hospital.“
“I love the new vet! Listened to me, took his time, had my cat and dog there on separate occasions and was pleased.“
“On Sunday October 6, it was a warm sunny day. My fully 6ft wood paneled fenced in backyard (replaced in spring recent) and enforced with chicken wire round the top, allowed my two kitties to roam about and enjoy outside safely. Never, could I ever imagine a rogue pit bull would jump my neighbors low wire fence into an adjacent neighbor’s yard and then ram his head through my wooden fence. He was after my fluffy Lucy cat and he tossed her around like she was an irrelevant plaything from his toy box!! We yelled, cursed and tried to make him release her from his jaw—but no way would he let go. He beat her about on any surface he could find, smiled when we demand him to “drop it!” And only by the grace of GOD were we able to retrieve her near lifeless body and rush her to the local vet with the help of the dogs owner.
Lucy sustained a broken jaw and multiple jaw fractures, 2 fractures of the vertebrae, a concussion, brain trauma that is still TBD and loss of multiple teeth. When our local vet stabilized her, they admitted they could not treat the level of injury she suffered. They recommended Univeristy of Pennsylvania Matthew J Ryan vet hospital to treat her.
With a healthy dose of pain meds, we drove her in the back of our truck on a makeshift stretcher(cardboard, towel, medical tape bound) to the best option available to diagnose whether, 1) they could help her or 2) it was a lost cause and euthanasia was most fair. With a heavy heart and trauma of our own we moved forward—but were delayed by a minor fender bender, not life altering in a basic sense, but Lucy was on a time clock!!
When we finally arrived, a 3rd year resident took our admittance info and was nothing less than empathetic. The ER doctor said she had a good chance so we trudged on. Day after day of ups and downs. Woke up great, maybe had a seizure, woke up better, needs transfusion, may be septic, better white blood cell count today..etc. It was like that for 8 days til sugery was finally viable and two days later, she is home and now five days after, getting stronger each day.
I do want to shout out to my contracted pet insurance Company though USAA, your company has been fair, paid the appropriate coverage, without challenge, and just a note that paying for pet ins, is without a doubt, one of the more adult things I’ve done in life and in doing so has paid its value. Both claims submitted were paid and deposited in my bank account within one day (even though they mention 2-3 bus days).
Their prompt payments were a huge relief for me. I had to take out a personal loan to cover the cost I had to spend across 3 credit cards to pay for Lucy’s surgery the day I picked her up. Her insurance covers 15k accident/illness ins. Her final bill before checkups and wire removal was almost 25k, but imagine if I didn’t have Insurance. This would definitely be a place where I find my self in a challenging spot.
Bottom line:
The university of Penn veterinary hospital is one of the best hospitals for Vetinary science on the east coast. From my experience, the state of the art techniques and analysis they provide at their hospital is unmatched. If you are in desperate times, and your pet is ill, these are the folks to handle your case. They take the life of your pet seriously and they take the love for your pet from you seriously.“
“There are many great things to say about Elkins Park vet. My family has taken our exotic and domestic pets here for over a decade. They go above and beyond to help your pets, and to make things easier for us as pet owners. Elkins Park, and their Rhawnhurst location are equally wonderful. Every staff member is fantastic, and I'm happy to bring my pets here for another decade. 10/10.“
