“Dr. Keller has taken care of my dogs and my sister's dogs over the years. He has always demonstrated the love and compassion for the animals. Approximately seven years ago I had to make a difficult decision, my Brady had numerous issues. We tried to help but he wasn't improving. I decided he would not suffer anymore. When the time came Dr. Keller gave me the time to say goodbye, and he teared up with me. I received a sympathy card with a note from him. It said he hoped I would get another dog because I was a good owner and any dog would be lucky if they were going to be with me. Took me five years but I now have another dog, Charlie, who had a tough life at a puppy mill as a stud. He was discarded by the breeder and I was lucky enough to adopt him. Dr. Keller is his veterinarian now.“

“There was a negative post on nextdoor about Hempfield Animal Hospital which I believe has spurred some of the recent negative reviews on google. I've been taking my cats to Hempfield Animal Hospital for years and they have always been wonderful. We just took one of our cats on Wednesday this week for her yearly check-up and shots. Dr. Purvis has never been unkind to us. She can be quite serious when advocating for the health of your pets, but never rude. She has always worked with our cats' best interests at heart. When one of our cats suddenly got sick in January she was very kind and followed up with us by phone several times. Even after he passed at the animal hospital in Malvern she called us to check on us and the entire staff signed a card with their condolences. They all remember our cats names and personalities even if it's been a year since their last visit. They all seem to genuinely love animals.“
