At our home in our breezeway sometime in August , we had started to have encounters with yellow jackets. An occasional sting. This eventually turned into a regular occurrence with small swarms. Most of the family just considered them part of nature and that they would naturally die off in the winter . We had a particularly bad swarm one evening and numerous stings.

At this point, we all were at a consensus that the yellow jackets needed to go. We have many plants and flowers which draw a nice population of bees and hummingbirds and other animals . There was concern that they might be harmed by the process of eliminating the yellow jackets.

After doing a little research, I called Sting Operation on August 29.. The woman who answered the phone was helpful and knowledgeable. Carlos came that afternoon. He was very kind and helpful. He explained that the treatment would only target the yellow jackets and their nest. And, that the nest would continue to have some activity for up to 48 hours and to not use our side entrance during that time. Carlos explained that if he immediately removed the nest, the ones that were not in it and returning would simply build another nest. When they returned to the current nest they, too would die. He would return to remove the nest on Sep 3.

Within 48 hours, the activity of the nest ceased. Carlos returned on Sep 3 and removed it.

The customer service was excellent and the work was done with "safety first" in mind. Carlos was kind, professional and patient answering questions and explaining the process.“
