“On Friday July 5th, we had a new HVAC system installed. It wasn't working properly over the weekend, so we had to put in a service call.
The service tech, Mel Perez, told us that he was booked full, but would try and squeeze us in. Mel arrived around 5 PM and quickly figured out what the issue was. Mel replaced and reprogrammed our thermostat, added a little more refrigerant, and we were up and running again.
We really appreciate the quick and courteous service. Mel was very professional and knowledgeable about th unit. He really went out of his way to make things right. I hope his supervisors see this review and appreciate his hard work and dedication.

“My furnace quit during a cold snap right before Christmas week when I was expecting a houseful of guests. The owner, Chuck responded instantly and sent Dave, an HVAC tech within the hour. (You couldn't even reach most other companies on the phone at that time). Dave diagnosed the problem and found the 20 year old primary heat exchanger was clogged and not economically repairable. We wanted to stay with Carrier, so Sencon couldn't quote on a new furnace. But Dave was very helpful advising me on my options, and other reliable contractors. “I called Temp Check because our a/c unit was not working.Temp Check had installed our unit approximately 7 years ago.
Derrick came out to service it & found the issue in a short amount of time. He also prepped the unit for summer. Cleaned the condenser and checked all the electrical connections. “Very friendly people who run this company. I used them years ago for my heating oil and I'll never forget one time I needed my furnace restarted because I had ran out of oil. The people who came that night were husband and wife and the owners of the company. It was later in the evening and he went in my basement and got it restarted for me at no extra cost while I chatted with the woman. They were just so kind to me. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and took time to answer my questions about our heat pump and humidifier care in lay terms. I could see that he cared about his work and wanted to do it the right way. He also took time to put booties on to keep the floors clean and made sure there was no mess when he left.Update: Just to inform everyone that Triangle has discontinued residential service.
