“I've worked with a lot of contractors over the last 25 years on a range of houses and multi-unit properties. My experience with American Home Concepts was one of the very best.

To start, Casey showed up on time and wrote out a meticulously detailed estimate right on the spot. No waiting days or weeks for an estimate. He asked a long serious of questions that helped us identify exactly what we wanted. He made astute suggestions and provided some fresh ideas, but was never upselling. In fact, he probably saved us money with his ideas.

Amazingly, we were able to choose exactly when we wanted the project to start. The crew showed up the day they promised and worked hard every day until it was done. No 'putting a ladder on the job.' There were the usual complications and adjustments, but they got it all done essentially on schedule and, also amazingly, charged exactly what they had estimated.

The crew was quiet, polite, respectful in every way, and did fantastic work. They carefully protected all the work areas and left them clean and without a singe mark or smudge. We barely knew they were around when they were working, and when they were done everything was as clean and cared for as before they arrived. The results were fantastic.

Between the professionalism and consistency they showed at every stage, the quality of the experience from top to bottom, and the value we received for the price, American Home Concepts is my new standard for judging contractors. “David Wickes has done many projects, large and small, around our house. Like many homes in the area, age has caused everything in our house, including floors, walls, and door openings, to go slightly off-kilter. David is always keenly aware of the special issues that an older home presents when repairs or renovations are involved. He replaced our ugly, drafty, metal front door with a beautiful triple pane glass and wood door; he patiently figured out how to hang the new door properly in our slanted door opening. He also replaced a slipshod folding closet door that had been installed during an earlier renovation with a set of bespoke solid wood doors. David seems to take great joy in tracking down the perfect crystal doorknob or time-period appropriate moulding to make our house look its best. (He is also good at reparing damage inflicted on that beautiful moulding by exuberant puppies). I highly recommend David!“

“I truly can't say enough good things about this company! Really quick response time, very caring staff, and impeccable craftsmanship. They were always upfront about where they saw issues in our home and checked in later in the month to make sure everything was still ship shape. A bit more detail about what we had done - Our house had some sort of pest in the ceiling that was driving our cats and dog crazy. We had an exterminator come, but he was useless, saying that we would have to wait for the vermin to die in the ceiling and to let the smell dissipate once it died. :/ Thankfully, we then called Mike. He agreed that the exterminator's plan was not optimal, and, after discussing options, he cut a hole in the ceiling to install a humane trap and put a cover over the hole that looks like it had always been in the house. He checked all places a rodent could get in, literally from the roof to the foundation, and patched all holes. There was flashing that was peeling off around our roof that he fixed, and huge holes in our basement that led to the backyard, as well as our hoarder neighbor's house. Mike and his crew worked around my hectic schedule, came within 24 hours to set up traps, and removed anything that was caught. It is apparent how much Mike and Evolution care about their customers, and we are grateful to have people we can trust in our home. Thanks to their efforts, our home is now pest free!“
