“Although I was a little skeptical in the beginning, I have to honestly say as a 35 year contractor in the electrical business Northstar roofing and siding is absolutely accompany worth doing business with.I was a little skeptical at first because their business model is one of a general contractor employing crews that work under their direction.We are extremely pleased with the end results of a fairly complex project. Our project included an entire rip off of our main roof as well as two outline structures. We also replaced all of the gutters all of the skylights and areas of the roof that were visible to the street we upgraded to New steel roofing.Overall, I estimate I spent a bit north of $70,000 with NorthstarSome months later, we had our master bathroom renovated by a different contractor and this contractor chose to vent the bathroom fan by making a hole in our newly installed roof. When we had the 4 inches of rain a few weeks ago I woke to a drip and huge puddle in my brand new new $40,000 bathroom renovation.I really didn’t know where the water was coming in. I called Jeff, the owner of Northstar roofing and regardless that he did not make the penetration nor was the leak his responsibility. He mobilized an entire team, including himself that were at my house on a Saturday at 7:30 in the morning in a rain and wind.Rather than point fingers they took ownership even when they didn’t really have to! the whole crew, including the owner was up on my roof in absolutely terrible conditions fixing the leak caused by the bathroom contractors shoddy work.“

“Was told by another roofing company that my roof should be replaced. However Clarence said there was still years left of life on the roof and just needed maintenance. They did great work and did not try and sell me something I didn't need.“

To start, Casey showed up on time and wrote out a meticulously detailed estimate right on the spot. No waiting days or weeks for an estimate. He asked a long serious of questions that helped us identify exactly what we wanted. He made astute suggestions and provided some fresh ideas, but was never upselling. In fact, he probably saved us money with his ideas.

Amazingly, we were able to choose exactly when we wanted the project to start. The crew showed up the day they promised and worked hard every day until it was done. No 'putting a ladder on the job.' “We just had our roof completed by Bernie Staub Roofing. They did a fantastic job all around from the communication, estimate process, workmanship, and clean up. Their price was better than the other 5 companies that bid on our project and unlike the others, they didn't charge extra for a transferable warranty. According to owner Bernie Staub, the warranty is automatically transferable and charging extra for it is just not right. Bernie was totally involved throughout the whole process from personally answering the phone when we initially inquired, coming out to talk to us, providing the estimate, and supervising the work. He kept us apprised of a starting date as the weather was not conducive to roof work for over a month. He genuinely cares about the quality of the work as he puts his name and reputation behind it.
