“I strained my back shoveling snow. After two weeks of misery my boss recommended Blue Buddha Accupuncture. I am very grateful I went. My pain was greatly reduced after the intial appointment and after a couple more continued to improve. I also had cervical fusion surgery years ago and found accupuncture improved my condition. I discontinued during Covid and went a couple of years without. My neck or back were not getting worse so never went back. “I was seriously compromised by an injury when I began treatment. One specialty at WGA is Sports Acupuncture and reviews indicated success with injuries. At first I alternated physical therapy and acupuncture, one session each week, providing time for my body to adjust after each session. After several months I dropped the physical therapy and continued with acupuncture -- which seemed to offer much more improvement in motion and comfort per visit. When Whitney went on maternity leave, I switched to Laura. Needle placement remains mysterious to me, but they often found places that worked wonders. “Dr Schwartz has been my doctor for about 10+ years. She is thorough and actually talks to you and listens. She has treated 2 other family members for years as well. I would recommend her but then she w hold be too busy and it will be harder for me to get in to see her! Haha! Yes I do recommend her highly. I was tired of male doctors not hearing me, not taking me seriously, treating you like, "it's all in your head" and blowing my symptoms off without running tests. Dr S is so much better. If she thinks it's possible- she will run a test. Just like that. You don't have to "wait and see"! She is also very connected with different groups and companies. Several times she has said, "this company is doing a study, do you want to participate!? Sometimes, there are no fees! She is definitely my favorite! She treats my family members exactly the same!
