Two stars because Chris W is one of the best physical therapists I have ever had and I would recommend him to anyone recovering from major orthopedic surgery. Chris would get six stars if I could give them. That said, the new "intake team" is grotesquely incompetent, loses paperwork, can't identify ICD-10 codes, blames coworkers when simple tasks aren't done, and lies for days about when work that used to take NWRA desk staff five minutes is going to be completed. After giving them my business for years I gave up and am looking to go somewhere else for PT because the clerical staff's incompetence is standing in the way of me getting the therapy my surgeon prescribed. It's a shame the low-level workers are so awful because they have some of the best physical therapists in Salem. Too bad their data entry flunkies do everything in their power to prevent you from getting to work with them.

I was referred to this facility by a prominent ENT to ascertain if my faintness and dizziness were caused by inner ear issues. The admission desk lady is polite and by the luck of the draw I drew Dr. Amy Schepers for a therapist. Dr. Schepers has a first-rate bedside manner, was very thorough and patient, and recommended home exercises which have been amazingly beneficial. The therapy room is smallish and at times can feel more congested and noisy than the room at the Salem Hospital PT center. I understand that for some patients this is off-putting but in my limited experience I have not yet encounted PT in a private room setting.

I have mixed feelings about this facility. I went for vertigo/vestibular testing. I think the Dr is pretty good & knowledgable BUT the environment was intimidating. Everyone there can see and hear what's going on. The testing was stressful & embarrassing, as was the Dr "announcing" my issues with anxiety... THAT is why I won't go back. There was no privacy during testing, treatment & communication. I felt like the dozen or so staff and patients there (not only "observing"/staring) knew my whole medical history & circumstances. I guess I'm just too private for this atmosphere. The Dr also was seeing me along with multiple other patents at the same time. Bouncing back and forth. It just all felt very odd to me, unfortunately:(
