“Totally satisfied! I had a great experience with my first time visiting this office! The staff was super friendly when I arrived. They got me in right on time, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Dr. Leech himself was very kind, personable, and patient. He took time to answer all of my questions, even the seemingly silly ones. I really appreciate that from any person but especially a doctor!I thought i was going to get contacts, and Dr. Leech walked me out front and asked the gals to make a special call to my previous doctors office to find out exactly the brand I had used in the past because they really worked for me. Then he asked them to be sure that I had a pair to walk out wearing as I didn't have any at the time. That was super cool of him. He didn't have to do all that, but he did it without hesitation. One of the other gals up front took the time to go over my benefits with me to help me make an informed decision on the best route to go, glasses vs. Contacts. She then proceeded to spend the next hour with me while mybpicky butt had to try on umpteen hundred pairs. She helped me narrow down my optiins, making my decision much less complicated than I ever would have been able to do on my own! I walked out totally happy with my decision and was able to see clearly with the pair of contacts Dr. Leech hooked me up with.I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, a friend or family member! There's nothing negative to say at all!! Great experience!“
“The very best in Douglas County! My glass frames have had afew issues and Chris and his staff in the optometry department have always been more than accommodating and kind! My disability causes me to use a wheelchair, so I end up getting scattered much more than I did before my accident. they have always kept it very prompt, kind, and courteous! My eye doctor Dr Erickson is no longer at the practice. I have my annual exam coming up in March. Chris looked out for me by telling me when my medicare provider prefers scheduling yearly exams, I'm looking forward to seeing Dr Varner Gray here soon in March! Her father has attached and maintained most of Douglas County's youths braces by being the only other most available Orthodontist like Dr Porter. I went a to school from Jr High to High School with Andrea. She was always ban awesome academic student and I've heard she is a great eye Dr.I worked and lived away from Roseburg for many years and as soon as I needed to after moving back, I tried to get an appointment with her, but she and Dr Erickson were very booked out. So I proceeded to go with a longtime Dr in Roseburg who was suggested to me. That Dr pre-diagnosed me with the potential of a very blinding condition, so, I received a referral from a customer who was seeing a specialist in Eugene. A year ago, after my accident, I needed my eyes checked bc the accident caused new damage to my eyesight! I called my specialists office in Eugene, i was informed that he had retired. So I tried Andrea's office again and they were able to schedule an appointment with Dr Erickson. He performed the post-accident follow-up. They wereable to schedule me for an appointment and establish me as a new patient. I would encourage anyone to form a working relationship with their office and they have an excellent selection of excellent quality frames and lenses. Medicaid doesn't cover payment for frames and Dr Andrea Varner-Gray'soffice has wonderful budget package for many of us who can't afford to pay for frames. The front office staff is excellent all around with customer service & promptness & friendliness as well! The package doesn't linclude designer frames but they do have knock-offs which are very much like the real deal! The front office staff is excellent all around with customer service & promptness & friendliness as well! Thanks Dr Varner Gray's office so much for all your excellent attributes!“
