We're so grateful that Dr. Barkley and Dr. Rataj are practicing in our community. ** This review has been sitting in my drafts for a while because, frankly, it's a tough one that involves the loss of my childhood feline brother. However, All About Cats went above and beyond to make sure our cat had compassionate care and always strived to do the best for him, despite the grim odds we were dealt. From the prompt appointment and in depth care when we noticed something was wrong, to the empathy throughout as we faced a likely lymphoma diagnosis you never want to hear to squeezing in for an ultrasound and doing the best as we confronted the incredibly heartbreaking end of life stage, the outpouring of support made a world of difference. It's the little things and while we hope no one ever ever has to go through the awful rollercoaster that is cancer, knowing we were in the hands of such kind, compassionate staff who could sense our heartbreak and didn't stop one bit to go the extra mile for our sweet boy is a fact that offers me solace. All About Cats treated our entire family with deep respect, always. ** As life does, we welcomed another member to our family, a sweet kitten. They have been just as responsive and patient and caring when we needed to run to the vet (thankfully just in time, squeezing us in). Thank you, All About Cats, truly. “We have recently moved away from the Portland area and one of the biggest losses for us was leaving Viking. Over the course of the decade we were with Viking, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Hendricks, and their teams saw all 4 of our fuzz butts, 2 of them through the end of their lives. We have never been more grateful than to have been directed there after several bad experiences elsewhere. The quality of care from start to finish for both us and our pets was top notch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. For the last 5 years we have primarily seen Dr. Hendricks. Her and her techs took the time to get to know our pets and their quirks, including working with our extremely anxious dog and over the course of that relationship earning her trust. They explained everything they were doing and why. And they always stayed within the budgets we had whether it was for routine care or the many old man dog issues. They have set the bar for any future vets we work with. And that's a high bar. We will be forever grateful to the whole Viking team for everything they've done for us. “I came in with a dog having an ear infection and left a few says later with a dog that has a respiratory infection. Anyone else have this issue? We went in the 19th of Jan. They did the best they could though and things have slowly gotten better except my two dogs are sharing the infection.“

It was my first time going thru something rough like this but everyone showed care and support and they were all very nice and assuring. Momo my cat came in with glaucoma in one eye and the removal process was successful and I am very sure that Momo is going to live comfortably and will be very happy. Thank you so very much!!Update:Fast forward a few years, and Momo, my senior cat, started having frequent accidents in our new house. We initially thought it was behavioral, but after a month with no improvement, we knew something was wrong. Aloha Animal Medical Center to the rescue! They diagnosed Momo with hyperthyroidism and provided medication to regulate his levels.However, there was another challenge in store. Over the past week, Momo's vision seemed to deteriorate significantly. He began missing jumps, bumping into things, and vocalizing more frequently. A home "light test" confirmed our concerns, and upon closer inspection, a cloudiness in his remaining eye was evident.Thankfully, during our follow-up visit, Dr. Sanchez(?) reassured us that vision loss can be a natural part of aging in cats. They conducted thorough exams to rule out any pain or pressure issues, and Momo seems to be adapting well. He's even scheduled for a check-up to monitor his hyperthyroidism levels.Throughout this journey, Aloha Animal Medical Center consistently impressed us. Their competitive pricing and incredibly friendly and competent staff provided much-needed peace of mind. “Been going here for about a year with my pet. I have mixed feelings about the No appointment policy. On one hand if you can commit to being one of the first in line when the doors open at 8, you can pretty much guarantee your pet will be seen within the hour. But if you cannot do that then it's really a toss up if you'll be able to get your pet same day care. Dr. Pilversack and Dr. Dowell are awesome and I love when they pick up my dog's case. It's hard to rate too critically because most places are short staffed as well and I know that's going to be a factor anywhere you go. All things considered I'll keep taking my pet to Companion for the foreseeable future.“

“Every time we go here we end up getting stuck in a room and nobody checks in. We were on time for our appointment and after 35 minutes of waiting we decided to leave as this vet clinic does not take our time seriously.<br><br>For a clinic who is one of the most expensive we have been to, I would expect your operations to be a lot better than what they are.<br><br>UPDATE: We have gone back since and on our last visit they got to us very quickly and I could tell they meant business. We really appreciated how quickly everything went.“

“Decided to leave the vet factory that is B******d. Brought our boy in for allergies. Turned out it was his food. Skin spray & oral medicine (cytopoint didn't work for him). Amazing care & concern. And these treatments worked! My boy just loves Dr Beedle! A few months later we brought our girl in for an abnormal growth on her abdomen. Dr Rejba was companionate for my concern of cancer. A sample was sent out for testing. If you're concerned about pricing over treatment when it comes to taking care of your sick pet, then you don't deserve a pet! Any kind of healthcare & treatment cost! And it may be $30 more than the factory down the street, but to find staff as caring and attentive as this veterinary office, it's worth every penny! From front office to back, A-MAZ-ING!!“

“These guys are great! This is the economical way to get your pets immunizations, microchips and the sort. A REAL veterinarian and technicians arrive in a "veterinary office on wheels". It's on a first come, first served basis, and there's always a line, so I recommend getting there 1/2 hour ahead of the scheduled clinic start time.“

“Had to take my pup in for stitches and was very worried because she's an anxious dog. Not only was the doctor awesome and very confident in working with an anxious dog but the front desk staff was wonderful. It's a very busy place but no one seemed cranky or snippy. Best experience I've ever had at a vet.“
