Unless your bike fit is currently terrible, don’t expect a huge amount of adjustment. However, the adjustments he did definitely improved my posture and comfort. I absolutely recommend Jason!“

1215 SE 8th Ave d, Portland“I don't know where I'd be without PT 360. In early March I was scheduled for a July 31, 2024 total knee replacement. I went in for an evaluation for "prehab" to prepare me for surgery, recovery etc., Caitlin, my therapist, completed the evaluation and I began a 10 week, 2X a week, physical therapy program. Each week Caitlin added a variety of home exercises and in studio routines that allowed me to strengthen my right knee, increase flexion and regain extension of the right knee joint. My pain prior to treatment varied from 4-7 depending on activity, requiring NSAIDs, ice and rest for relief. During treatment I added twice-three times a week workouts on the recumbent bike at the gym and weights for flexion and extension. I completed the program Caitlin designed and can honestly say I am 100% better. I am walking upright for the first time in many months. I canceled my surgery last week. I know that surgery is still distinct possibility down the line but, as long as I keep up my home exercises and gym work I can hopefully delay it for months, years or longer. So, in closing, let me say, I give PT 360 my highest rating and would recommend them to anyone seeking professional and attentive PT.“

It's been a difficult journey but I am seeing results and that's in large part due to Zachary's patience, his deep understanding of the human body, and his dedication to the people he treats. I have experienced severe pain from sciatica and limited range of motion in my left shoulder and carpal tunnel in my right wrist which produces considerable numbness in my right hand. Each session with the activator increases my range of motion and my sciatica is gone. Great stall all around, most pleasant.“

They work seamlessly together at each appointment to meet you where you’re at. I had been having dealing with reoccurring overuse injuries from running for 5+ years and had accepted it as the new normal until the pain started to get in the way of me doing what I loved. Jay and team found the root issue and got me on a well- rounded program to solve it. A few months later and I’m sad I won’t get to spend time weekly with the team anymore, but thrilled by the results. You will be too!“

9923 SW Arctic Dr, Beaverton“I have been attending Adapt for almost a year and I can't recommend it highly enough. I have been able to return to running pain free and am moving so much better and am getting stronger! Amazing team and so supportive! This is the gym you go to for long term health- their focus is functional movement - if you are looking for a singular goal - like a Kardashian booty - this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for overall strength, mobility and movement for a lifetime - this is the place. There are people who have been going here for 10+ years. Lots of grey hairs and people moving well and strength training long into 60's, 70s and beyond. That inspires me and I want to be moving that well at that age! They also have a great youth athlete program to help fix those imbalances in those younger athletes.“

6840 S Macadam Ave, Portland“I love taking classes at Paxson Yoga Center. A friend told me about it years ago when it was Gudmestad Yoga, but it's taken me all this time to start taking classes here. I am on my second term and I know I'll continue for years here. All the teachers are terrific, and I am particularly taken with Hope Fyfield. Hope has a light, humorous and gentle approach, yet her yoga goes very deep. I have seen a lot of change in my practice since I've been taking her classes; she takes me right to the fundamentals and I have gained strength and understanding from her teaching.“

It really made my life better and I can say with confidence now that my shoulder and neck pain is gone and my lower back pain is truly improving. I'm no longer afraid to feel the discomfort when I lean over and it's just super unbelievable I'm at where I am now. Thank you for teaching me how to not be afraid of pain. And also thanks for showing me exercises I can take with me wherever I go moving forward. I also appreciated your educational explanations for where exactly in my body I was experiencing pain and possibly why, which really helped me target those muscles and to be more mindful of posture. As cliche as it may sound, thanks for changing my life! Hopefully I won't have to be back for a while but if I ever do I will know who to contact again. Thanks so much for all that you and your staff do to make the world a little better.“

9115 SW Oleson Rd #206, Portland“If you need PT, this is the place to go. I received excellent care from John Zdor and 2 assistants who helped with exercises. John is a great listener, troubleshoots the problem and then establishes a plan to enable healing. He explains everything well during the sessions and if you forget to ask questions, he promptly answers them by email. All of the staff is accommodating and pleasant and makes the experience enjoyable. The space is clean, well equipped and has lots of natural light. For any future problems, this will be the place I choose to go to for help. There is little to no wait time for appointments, as the time slots are well managed, and there are timely phone reminders for appointments. Outstanding!“

530 NW 23rd Ave #116, Portland“My dearest community,
If you have ever struggled with being validated by standard medicine, your community, or yourself, please do your mind, body, and soul the honor of scheduling an appointment with Nicki McDaniel. Please do your mind, body, and soul the honor of relinquishing any preconceived or learned notions that having a physical therapist should solely be a curative option, and not also a preventative one. While in session with Nicki, she begins her practice by facilitating a mind-connection through thoughtful and intellectual dialogue, and follows this by channeling a body-connection through energy and Reiki healing. This, in summation, is what Nicki does in her practice; yet the true healing process that results from her sessions is a masterpiece beyond the grasp of my personal lexicon.
In my attempts to encapsulate the profound influence that Nicki McDaniel has had on my life, I sought out the aid of my “aspirational library.”
In the Awakening, Kate Chopin boldly wrote of a woman who had “perceived that her will had blazed up, stubborn and resistant. She could not... have done other than denied and resisted... She could not realize why or how she should have yielded.”
At the age of nineteen, I was fortunate enough to learn of the power within the things we feel resistant toward. Through a series of seminars, I learned that in the moments where we feel resistance, there is a signal that relays a message—resistance precedes an opportunity to grow. Opening and responding to this message is always a choice, one that is often made when certain aspects of the nervous system are aligned. While functioning in the sympathetic nervous system, it is natural to respond to a message through a modality of fight-or-flight. While functioning in the parasympathetic nervous system, it is natural to respond to a message through a modality of being quiet, of being still, of being within one’s self, opposed to being outside of one’s self and looking within. This state of being exists when one is able to adjust and remove interference from the nervous system through healing methods, i.e., physical therapy and reiki. This knowledge aided in rekindling my fiery and stubborn demeanor, while also helping to nurture my longing for solutions to the chronic conditions I was experiencing at such a young age.
Eckhart Tolle, in the Power of Now, aptly states how “it seems that most people need to experience a great deal of suffering before they will relinquish resistance.”
I can attest to two things: I have experienced a great deal of suffering, and it was when I relinquished my resistance toward naturopathic healing, I was finally able to find Nicki, allowing myself to begin my true healing journey.
“Stressful thoughts reflect a conflict with reality. Stress happens when the mind resists what is.” Within the Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Dan Millman provides a reminder that our mind and our body are constantly sending us signals—of joy, of fear, of hope—and we are only able to truly adapt to reality when we have an awareness of these signals.
The disciplined mental and physical practices that Nicki taught me helped guide me in connecting my mind with my body so that I may listen and respond to sensations I experience. The initial moments of our first ninety-minute session together cultivated a feeling of resistance more powerful than I had felt before. Fortunately, for me, this sensation was welcomed and encouraged by my prior teachings. Following our first session, I left with a list of books to add to my library, and a desire to immediately take off on my adventure. I crossed back over the threshold into the world feeling more lovable, capable, magnificent, and whole than I had ever felt before. I now existed in the world knowing that the universe had gifted me the perfect partner to walk next to on my journey. I now existed in the world having the faith that I could live my life as a powerful and re“

“As someone who is often timid when it comes to bodywork, I was initially hesitant to try chiropractic care. However, after receiving several referrals from people I trust, I decided to give Dr. Sergio at Colibrí Chiropractic Clinic a try, and I am so glad I did!
First and foremost, I appreciated how responsive and accessible the office is via text. The husband-and-wife team behind Dr. Sergio's practice brings a warmth that sets this clinic apart from others. Navigating the process as a 'Self-Referral Kaiser Permanente' patient was seamless and incredibly easy.
What truly impressed me was the time Dr. Sergio took to listen attentively to both my physical health concerns and my personal story. He is a holistic practitioner with a genuine gift for healing, which is not something you find everywhere. He introduced me to the Zone Technique, which was new to me but made perfect sense once experienced in a session.
Dr. Sergio masterfully combines the practical, clinical aspects of chiropractic care with the emotional and spiritual components of healing. This unique approach made the experience tangible and deeply impactful. I felt an internal balance and peace that went beyond the physical adjustments.
As someone with an autoimmune disease, the strength and tranquility I felt within myself after my visit was a wonderful surprise. Dr. Sergio facilitated a sense of peace, calm, and hope within my body and mind.
I highly recommend Dr. Sergio at Colibrí Chiropractic Clinic to anyone seeking a holistic healing experience that transcends the physical. We are so much more than our bodies, and Dr. Sergio truly understands and honors that.
Thank you, Dr. Sergio, for such a transformative experience!“
