“I switched to wildwood from a very long care with rose city vet since 2020. I was not happy w/ my dr/drs there when it came to my dogs senior care. they just kept giving me the same medications and hard to see one dr. Wildwood vet Dr. johnson listen to us carefully and had great solutions and if one thing didn’t work she offered another.
my senior pup I believed lived extra longer because of their care and suggestion of medications. He was not in pain and although I wished he lived little longer, I believe he left when he needed to and after my dog passed wildwood sent me a sweet sympathy card. I appreciate the detail and care. “I took my elderly cat in for her first appointment here today and I am so happy I did. The staff was cordial and Dr. Castle was very professional and helpful. The last vet my cat went to was not nearly as helpful and seemed to be more concerned with money than care of the animals, even going so far as to say they may not be the cheapest, but I should remember that you get what you pay for. While I understand that to an extent, I believe that was not the case with our now ex-vet clinic. I would happily pay the prices of the previous clinic for the care from this one.
Portland Animal Clinic was also able to give me her medicine right away unlike the other vet who sent me to a specialty pharmacy that was quite a ways away. I am ecstatic to continue my best friend's care with Portland Animal Clinic and Dr. Castle.“

“My beloved Malinois/German Shepard mix is highly anxious with unfamiliar places/people.
I decidedly to try Wildwood because they're close to my residence, and ,because they have the facilities to do not only basic wellness care but some surgeries as well.
I was concerned about my dogs mouth/teeth and it turns out she'll need surgery to remove 1-2 infected molars.
I was so grateful that the vet took the time to allow my fur baby to let's her surroundings and even let her check out the instruments before using them in the exam.
Doing this saved a huge amount of havehave are ty for both my dog and are you doing themto ou I 3andrea sets the stage for furthermore visits in a positive way.

“I have taking my dogs here for several years, and have nothing but praise for this clinic. They are attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I trust them with my dogs and trust their guidance. They have never let me or my dogs down, and genuinely care about what’s best for the animal.

I highly recommend the Care Plans as they are really fairly priced and save money. They also make budgeting for their care way easier.“

“My dog is a young senior and had a new murmur with otherwise excellent health. The doctors and staff explained that she should have a full life undeterred by her heart as long as I change her diet to include grains and not include many legumes (beans, peas, and lentils) as it's suspected they may interfere with the absorption of taurine. Studies have not proven this connection yet, so we cannot be certain, but apparently many other dogs they have seen have had their health improve once switching diets. The office is clean and calm and the doctor was happy to thoroughly answer my questions. Thank you!“

They are certainly not the cheapest vet in town, but I truly believe in my heart that you get what you pay for. I would go hungry before taking my baby to a different vet.

Everyone on their staff is kind, caring, and a joy to interact with. Dr. Johnson is an angel, and Em is incredibly gentle and patient with my dramatic little Dude. Their responsiveness and follow-ups are impeccable, and they explain everything in so much detail that I never have follow-up questions.

“I have been taking in stray cats since 2022, and have brought them all to halsey east. Dr Vockert and Dr Vidos are great. Very affordable for veterinary care, whether it's surgery, prescription, or just checkups. I have actually found that getting prescriptions here is cheaper than online, which is very convenient. They have a great team that is clearly very passionate about their work. I would not go to any other clinic.“
