“I was looking for a permanent makeup as well as brow microblading and came upon Kelly at Carey Ink (soon to be under Kelly Ink in Tumalo) I was more than pleased with Kelly's integrity (told me my brows didn't need to be done yet and my eyeliner would look better just as lash enhancements; and she was right!), professionalism, and sweet, kind energy. Kelly did some exfoliating before putting on the numbing cream which made a huge difference in the pain levels I've experienced before. Kelly also doesn't force one to get expensive touch ups after 6 months or a year or end up paying start over prices again!! If you don't need the touch up, why get dinged?! I look forward to getting my brows done when they truly need it, and have no issue at all driving a few minutes extra to Tumalo. Heck, the parking there should be easier than downtown Bend!!“

“In 2015, I was looking for a permanent makeup artist to apply permanent eyeliner (upper and lower). A friend recommended Susan of Permanent Makeup by Susan. When I met Susan I was very impressed by her professionalism and experience; her salon was, and is, very hygienic and clean. Susan did a wonderful job with my eyeliner. In fact, I was so happy I went back again this year (2021) for my eyebrows and once again she did her magic!! Susan is a perfectionist when she creates the correct shape and mixes your personalized color for your brows. I could not be happier with the results! Perfect shape! Perfect color! I love not having to apply brow pencil or eyeliner, what a time saver! But the best part is my eyes now look amazing. Not only is Susan an expert in permanent makeup, she is also a lovely person. The first week, I received compliments like crazy, and they were not about the lashes, although, really they were as that was the only thing that changed.
