“Our dog started attending Mas and Paws Pet Resort in the fall of 2023. Although he was 20 months of age, he still had some maturing to do including being more patient and managing impulse control. Consistency is important and having a team that reinforces the behaviour we want is refreshing. He's blossomed into such a wonderful dog thanks in part to Janet and her crew and his every need is tended to while in their care. “My dog, Goofy, has been going to iPet Grooming for several months now, and it’s been amazing!! Goofy is always happy to go there and he usually doesn’t even want to leave after. He’s been having such a good experience there and comes back looking so clean and handsome! I consistently get lots of compliments following the grooming from family, friends, neighbours, random people on the street, and my vet!! Angus and Josie are both really good and always a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them!“

“Our veterinarian recommended this groomer to us and we are very grateful for it. They were both very friendly and welcoming from the start and really took an interest in the needs of our pups. We collected our eldest long coat chihuahua from them this afternoon and he looks amazing - a super cute cut! (Smells great too - we don't want to put him down)

Our main concern while finding a groomer was how they'd treat our pups - we've had instances with previous groomers/ businesses where our dogs seemed utterly traumatized when we collected them. After collecting our pup this afternoon, we can tell he was well treated and handled gently - he was very calm and relaxed (which for a chihuahua is especially impressive).

“I can't say enough good things about Dog Idol! My Cocker Spaniel was in desperate need of some TLC, with matted fur that I didn't think anyone could fix. The team at Dog Idol did an absolutely amazing job. They were incredibly gentle and patient, taking their time to carefully groom him without causing any stress.

Not only did they remove all the mats, but they also gave him the most adorable column legs! His coat is now silky smooth, and he looks so happy and comfortable. The attention to detail and the love they have for the dogs really shines through in their work. My pup came home looking like a new dog and with an extra spring in his step.

“Clean, new premises and Carol is a caring dog parent. The only problem is that she is not always available since she has responsibilities outside Canada.Dogs are encouraged to play and roam free in very large outdoor kennels. Carol has taken care of my Corgi several times and I have never had any problems with her care of my dog.“

“We found a stray cat, and the clinic was more than gracious to have us bring her in to check for a microchip.

They were kind, courteous, and very thorough in helping us in finding the contact information for the stray cat.

I can't comment on any other aspect or services of the clinic, but I can definitely say they are very hospitable to the clients that walk through their doors.“

“This location has consistently been my preferred spot to visit for all my pet needs. I would go visit this store whenever I am in this area. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.One of my favorite things about this store is the cat adoption area. The detailed and engaging bios for each cat make it a joy to learn about them. Seeing the "I found a home" sign on the glass always warms my heart.I am impressed by the variety of raw food options available for dogs and cats, including unique items like quail eggs.The cleanliness and tidiness of the animal enclosures speak volumes about the care and respect shown to the animals in the store.During my recent visit, I was overjoyed to see that the canaries had new additions - adorable little babies! Thank you to the staff for creating such a wonderful environment for pets and pet lovers alike.“

“Idk where all of the bad reviews came from, but I got my cat here and she is the best cat ever. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (she kept my pet on hold when I went to take cash, instead of giving it to another potential buyer). The cats were kept in a very humane environment (see video - inside a huge glass door with lot of toys and cat climbing tools) so I am not sure why people are complaining about the cages and poor treatment. They allow guest to interact with the kittens $10 per person which is deductible if you purchased the kitten after. Maybe it’s the grooming that gives the bad review but this place is great if you want to get a kitten of good temper!“
