He replaced 2 keyless ceiling light fixtures in my basement and replaced my 3 smoke detectors with 3 new combo (smoke and CO2) detectors. “We had a great experience with Sergii from Actus Electric. I contacted him through Kijiji for installing pot lights, and the quote he gave after visiting was reasonable. Getting the job done included some electrical work and Sergii was thorough and kept things as clean as possible. He was very polite, helpful, and very patient with my husband and I asking him to install three extra lights last minute. The pot light installations were very well done and he took time to make sure we were happy with the placement of the new lights (in non-existing spots) and gave us the option of different colours/intensity. “I had a short circuit in basement pot lights. I thought it was the switch and since I saw a spark from there but replacing that did not work. Called Jafar to trouble shoot the problem and I was glad I did because he found the short in one of the pot lights and revealed that another was close to failing. He came back 2 days later and replaced all my pot lights with new LED pot lights. The old ones had been problematic for a while so happy to have the new energy efficient lights. “

“The problem I had concerned the loss of my WiFi due to a tripped breaker which showed a red light when reset. I needed a certified electrician promptly and checked the Home Stars website where I found impressive reviews of two electricians, Rob and Peter, at Star Service Electrical. Upon contacting this company, I spoke with Rob about my concern and he set up a service call within two days at a very reasonable price.
He arrived on time and promptly began his diagnostic work.
Afterwards, he told me he had identified the cause of the issue at an outlet between a new wall and an old wall. He expressed a concern that the damaged wire he had to repair may be back in the recessed electrical box and that would mean cutting into the wall. Nevertheless, he told me he will do his best to repair the wire without cutting into the wall. And later that is exactly what he did. For any future electrical matters, Rob and Star Service Electrical will be my go to choice for peace of mind. I therefore highly recommend Rob and his company to anyone seeking a certified electrician.“

“On Sunday August 4th 2024 of a long weekend a huge limb feel from my Red Oak tree, downing wires and Hydro had to be called to disconnect power. Damage on my property and called Kenneth from Tritech electrical and he and Danny came out right away and power was restored. The Tritech team has incredible staff, electricians and service.“

He troubleshot the problem one by one and explained to me in detail what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening in the future.
