“Got my first tattoo at age 73. I am so impressed with the fabulous work that Hannah did. She was very professional and caring throughout my first experience. I've received many, many compliments on my sunflower tattoo. I was very nervous with the aftercare and texted Hannah to go over the instructions again. She responded in a timely manner and all is well. The shop is very clean and I noticed how well another employee was sterilizing his work station. “The only artist worth going to in this studio is Kallen. If you are looking at black and grey realism, I would only recommend Kallen from this studio. I'm starting out a leg sleeve and this is already the first session result. His work is insane for his experience, and he really takes his 100% effort to achieve his realism quality. This is what realism is supposed to look like, not some rushed work that only takes a 1-2 hours. If you're looking at this studio or any other black&grey artist in Hamilton, you're best bet is with Kallen.“

“The tattoo I got is my dad’s hand writing from a card he gave me before he passed away, and it looks so good, just like his hand writing. The only lace was very clean and it really seemed like the main guy knew what he was talking about when it came to tattoos and the after care of them. The price was amazing!“

“I haven't had a tattoo done this side of the 2010s so I was a bit nervous. I booked with Venus for a relatively simple tattoo but it definitelyneeded some refinement and an artists eye. The whole shop was clean, beautiful and staffed by friendly and professional personnel. At each step I was met with professionalism and exemplary customer care.

I screwed up my appointment time by accident (thanks dyslexia) and they worked to get me in same day which I'm sure inconvenienced them but no one would know it by their demeanor.

Venus worked hard to find the perfect placement and size, in fact the prep took longer than the actual tattoo. She used perfect aseptic technique to setup the area and prep the skin. Then she began to tattoo me...well she said she was tattooing me but I had to ask if she had even started yet. Her tattooing technique uses intermittent positive pressure on the skin to reduce discomfort and irritation. Nearly 2 hours later and I am still looking at it to make sure it's there since I can't feel much.

TL/DR: Clean, professional, fair pricing, amazing vibe, friendly, excellent artwork and accommodating. Am I coming back? Yes. Do I recommend Ace and Sword? 100% yes.

“Took my son to get his ears pierced last week. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. The piercer, Faith was super genuine and honest. Talked us through every step, kept things light with some joking around and kept my son calm through the entire process. After care, which is something my son and I spoke in depth about for months prior to, was explained well, we were provided with an info sheet and she also reiterated how important it was. The saline spray can be conveniently purchased there as well. My son was super pleased to receive his ‘I didn’t cry’ sticker at the end of it haha. The whole experience was great and will definitely go back if anyone in our family decides on future piercings.“
