Excellent services! I pre arranged my service with them last year. My father and mother both used them. Very respectful outfit. I like the fact that they have a special option that you can log in and put the death certificate number in and it automatically cancels SIN, Ohip, Bell, Rogers, credit cards etc. At first it sort of freaked me out that with one click, my whole life will be erased but than again. They didn't have that option at the time with my parents. When I dealt with my parents death I spent days calling Ohip etc.. All while trying to grieve. I prearranged everything so that no one has to ever go through the motions of arranging a funeral for me. Honestly, it was an uncomfortable process.. but these guys are really respectful. They even came to my home to console me after my father died. I love these guys!
We used Basic Funerals services last year for a family member and were very satisfied. We wanted to pay our own funeral arrangements ahead of time so our children would not have this burden and because we both wanted our own wishes carried out, cremation but no visitation or service. Because of the COVID-19 virus all normal shopping experiences have been closed or cancelled. We were able to make our choice, plan and pay over the internet. Last year Patrick took care of the arrangements. For ours Tania was the representative. Both are extremely helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend their service.
