He made sure that the rose bed, which was once home to five spruce trees, had all of the tree roots taken out out, all weeds and woodchips hauled off, tilled the ground until the dirt was clean and prepped, filled in with the best dirt from Kurtz Bros, and then edged the bed. What was important to me was that he understood my vision and he took it and made it come true.
