Wow. This was just as much an experience as as it was a haircut. I imagine this was what getting a haircut was like in the days past. Bert is very talented and gave me the exact modern cut I was looking for. I imagine he has seen it all as he informed me he has cut hair in downtown for ~50 years. There is also a gentleman that will shine shoes and I was told someone comes in for manicures sometime in the week. I will be back for years to come :)

We went with Cruz’s in May and we have been very happy with this company. We had two companies prior to them, one cut our grass and we never seen them again, we texted them and called them, they never returned our calls, never showed up. We tried Cruz’s and have been very happy with them. If you have a question they respond to your text. They do what they say they will. I had very waist long curly hair that was in bad shape due to covid , I went to a salon to get it back in shape and voiced the importance of them knowing how to cut curly hair , ended up a mess along with now shoulder length hair because she must not have known the bounce back, Went to Jazz at the Choice Salon and she took my tears away. she is the best at listening and giving you what you want and need. I will Never go anywhere else again.

I went to the location on a whim for a quick trim, and was delighted they were able to accept me as a walk-in. I was able to get my hair trimmed with Pam. She did a wonderful job, and my hair looks much better, especially compared to previous trims I have received at other salons. I will be a returning customer!

I walked in without an appointment, and I saw how clean the place was. Mathew Vasquez greeted me as I closed the door. He said they take appointments but was free and willing to cut my hair on the spot. Now you have to know that my hair hasn't been cut in four months and I looked very shaggy! Not long after I looked like a different person! Mathew did a great job! My wife even liked his work! That is high praise! I will be going back with an appointment the next time !

Great place for a haircut the best I have found in the Toledo area "The Slice is Right" They take mobile payments or cash. Sometimes they can fit you in even if you don't have an appointment you can book any of them on Booksy or TheCut app. They did move locations that will be updated on the app I provided. About 5 barbers Total. Great atmosphere and vibe they mostly have music playing and plenty of room to find a seat and wait they even have free wifi That's about all you need to know Good luck out there everyone.

I never have a bad experience with any of the staff at the Monroe Street location. My particular visit on Sunday, July 9. I had the pleasure of Olivia helping my sister and I. She always is very sweet, very fast, and obviously works with the customers to make sure their visit is perfect every time. I’ve seen her handle other customers when I am there and she treats them the same way she treats me And I believe that is very rare, especially in this day and age of terrible customer service. Just hire these talented ladies! They were a joy to work with & felt like additional friends in my bridal party. They were professional, but also fun to work with & talk to. They did hair & makeup for my self & my bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid wanted something different, & even when they couldn’t articulate or have photos of the look they wanted the Beauty Bond team nailed it! Everyone looked so beautiful on that day. Including myself, the bride. I don’t normally wear a ton of makeup, so I was a bit worried I wouldn’t still look like me after going more glam for my wedding. But they did it, I looked like the best version of myself. Everyone at the wedding complimented my makeup and it photographed beautifully. I booked a Brazilian, dermaplane, and a gua sha facial with Jill the week before my honeymoon. I was a little nervous and felt a little awkward about the wax but as soon as I met Jill she totally put me at ease, and was over the top accommodating. She must cleanse her work space because I was totally zen, and had zero anxiety. The facial was absolutely divine, I can't recommend her enough!
My daughter and I had our first experience at Ahava! It was pure Bliss! We did their hydro tub, deep cleansing facial, 60 min. massage, and hair wash and style!! All 4 ladies that I worked with were wonderful! I’m not sure why I’ve never had a facial before! Grace, the estatician … was very thorough and made my skin feel wonderful!! Always a great experience at the best tattoo shop in Toledo. Dawn finished up my arm length, full color, cherry blossom branch. She wants to do some touch up on it in December so no photos yet.
Since this was my third tattoo by her my booking was done via an in person consultation. The shop is well lit with a very happy vibe. All the staff are very friendly which is a plus. I only have a 7 mile drive from my home in Temperance Michigan so travel is no big deal. Highly recommended.
The absolute best experience from communication about what I wanted done down the the amazing artwork that was done. Finn was my artist and he did an amazing job. He gave me a butterfly tattoo that reminds me of my mother who passed away. I cried because it was perfect. Deanna was amazing! This was my first time getting a piercing since i have moved to Ohio so I was a bit nervous. She made me and my friend feel very comfortable, she gave us her undivided attention and patience. Educated us on aftercare and all the different types of piercings available. I left Alyssa an hour ago extremely happy. She has a great hand and pulls a smooth line, she caught the energy of my silly tribute tattoo and did it justice! Even around my knee, where it's always expected to hurt more, it was pretty easy. She uses bactine and a cool wipe (which you KNOW is heaven), and a very welcoming person! I've happily recommended her to several of my friends already.
We took our eleven year old here to get her earlobes pierced after much deliberation. It was very much her choice and I we are so so HAPPY and GRATEFUL we chose to go here! Zoe was wonderful and couldn’t have been more considerate and professional. She made it so so painless, easy and not traumatic! The matter care instructions were very clear and helpful, the jewelry used is appropriate and safe, everyone is happy with the outcome.

Tis my fault! I threw a bunch of egg noodles down my garbage disposal . My disposal threw them back at me along with a lot of water. James was great. I submitted a request for a quote via our local directory for an appointment to examine a circuit breaker that kept tripping when we turned on a lamp in our living room. James called me within a couple of hours to get some more details and a picture of the breaker box and texted me a detailed quote shortly after. So I set up an appointment for a Saturday morning. -- he was prompt and very friendly, appeared to be very thorough in his examination of the box and the outlets (he got my money's worth out of the hourly fee), and explained what he thought the issue was and the potential fixes. I took his suggestion, and so far, so good! I highly recommend James and his team!

We initially did the flooring in our kitchen ourselves and it was okay. Let me tell you, having done both, even though the professionals cost a bit more, it was so very much worth it. The floor did and still does look incredible.
And we could not be more pleased with it. That was about 2 years ago that we had it done, and if we keep it clean, it looks brand new, same as it did when they first did it. I highly recommend them.

I hired **** Wilson to repair a sink drain 5 years ago. And he has no successfully completed job number 5 for me. His work ethic is top notch and he does not cut corners on anything. He’s done everything from minor plumbing and electrical work all the way to a complete bathroom remodel. I wont hire anyone else.

Great guys and an owner that has your back. Their work quality is amazing. They were able to match my existing architecture exactly. Their pricing was very comparable to the last company I hired. However, the guys seemed to care more about ensuring I was happy throughout the process than they were about getting in and getting out. Just seemed it was more to them than a job. I'm certain Jon has more to do with that than anything else. He really holds them to a higher expectation.
From start to finish I have been extremely pleased with their professionalism, quality of the products, the craftsmanship, the employees, the whole nine yards. They held my hand through design. They really listened and steered me away from doing anything that was unnessessary. Sometimes I didn't even know it was happening. I was out of town when the work took place. We had Liberty come out to help demo and build new concrete steps for our business. They were so easy to work with and did a great job. When he came out to give me an estimate I had very little idea of what I wanted and what would work, but with minimal input from me, he created a stunning landscape in my front, side and back areas. Had a single oak taken down w/ stump removal in Sylvania Twnshp in early June ‘23. I was very pleased with the job performed. I had multiple quotes \\u0026 Roman Tree Service gave me a fair price and did the job as promised. Stump removal followed a few days after the tree takedown. I worked w/ Jessie and he was able to rearrange his crew to get the job done. They worked fast \\u0026 cleaned up well. I would recommend and use them again in the future.

Today was my first appointment. I had a bad wisdom tooth that I did not take care of. I showed up in bad shape. Dr Jeff Breymaier took very good care of me. I chose to have the wisdom tooth extracted. Dr Jeff Breymaier was a professional he extracted my tooth and I did not feel a thing. His assistant was very nice and informative to my post instructions also receptionist was very polite. I will be returning for future visits.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jajuga for many years. I’m a firefighter / paramedic of over twenty years with several job related injuries and ruptured / herniated discs. I am not a surgical candidate for my neck and back problems. My job requires that I maintain focus and concentration when lives are on the line, so I obviously cannot be on narcotic pain reliever medication, nor do I wish to be. Dr. Jajuga’s treatment and dedication to me has kept me on the job and off pain medications. I travel twenty minutes, past several other chiropractic practices to get to Foundation Chiropractic Center, Dr. Jajuga’s practice. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Jajuga for any of your chiropractic needs.

There is very little wait for Dr. Jerry to help you with any concerns you have that session. As most Chiropractics would rather schedule you for an appointment, you are more than welcome to do a "walk in" if you are in need of some relief.
The atmosphere is very laid back, and I never felt uncomfortable at any point.
There is a board of different companies' business cards on the wall as well as lots of great literature about this great city, Toledo.

The Joint is an excellent resource for Chiropractic care. The facility is welcoming and nicely decorated. It is professional without looking too sterile. The adjustments are quickly done and the wait for a drop in appointment is minimal. I go weekly and have signed up for the affordable monthly plan. Dr.Moore is a compassionate and up front Doc. He treated my senior dog as if he were his. He was recommended by Central Kennels and I couldn't be happier with the comfort I have when he's in their care.

10/24/24 I text with an urgent need for a ferrel cat that was far too gone to save. They provided me with a quick response and appointment so the cat would not suffer in pain. In less than an hour we got in and the cat crossed over peacefully in caring hands. The staff is beyond amazing in everything they do. Thank you to each and everyone for the help.

This is an update on 9/10/24. Shoreland Animal Hospital is, still and always will be the best animal hospital in Toledo ❤️. I can't say enough about their care❤️❤️❤️. I had a situation where my 10 month old Irish Wolfhound ended up needing emergency surgery after hours and Dr Brown and the staff went over and beyond to save him. He had to recover at Med Vet over the weekend and Dr Brown kept me updated over the weekend better than Med Vet. They have always been so caring when I have had to send one of my babies to the Bridge. I can't thank them enough for caring for my children ❤️

We discovered Hot Dog's when we took our dog Kipper to Glass City Canine (another five star business) which is next door to Hot Dog's six years ago. Kipper won't let us trim his nails at home. We gave up after several unsuccessful attempts. He doesn't like baths or people touching his paws. But, he trusts the ladies at Hot Dog's. He lets them work on him and it doesn't bother him at all. He always comes out happy. Hot Dog's is not close to were we live, but I make the drive every few weeks because it. Is worth the extra time and distance to get superior service. They are very busy but, they have a long list of walk-in services. I really appreciate that! I recently learned that brushing teeth is one of the walk-in services, thanks to their new electronic menu display behind the counter. We now have Kipper's nails trimmed and his teeth brushed while I wait. Kipper goes to Hot Dog's exclusively and has been for the past six years. We tried other groomers in the past with our other dogs, but none can compare to Hot Dog's. I should mention that in addition to the groomers being very good at what they do, the staff are all very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I recommend Hot Dog's for all pet owners, but if you have a dog that gets nervous and is skittish, this is definitely the place to go. If Kipper could type, I'm sure he'd leave his own five-star review?
We feel so fortunate to have found a place to care for our senior dog when we are away. At 14 years old we feel she deserves a quieter environment than traditional boarding to ensure she always feels safe and comfortable. That’s exactly what we’ve found with Just Like Home. The whole family cares for her as if she was their own. We love the updates and pictures we receive when she’s there, and feel secure knowing she’s in great hands. Would highly recommended to anyone!!

Before bringing my little Shih Tzu to QT Paws, I went thru several groomers. I was wondering if anyone knew how to do a Shih Tzu cut. Well I have finally found the perfect groomer!! My Shih Tzu still looks incredible after a week of being groomed. He also smells amazing.
I took our brewery dog down to Let the Fur Fly to get her nails trimmed. She is exceptionally difficult to trim, but the ladies handled her beautifully. If they can handle Half Pint I have no doubt they can handle any dog.
Today we took our 4 dogs to Simply Pet Grooming for the first time. The people were so amazing. Everyone was nice, professional and just plain friendly. They listened to our needs and concerns

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES TO THESE MONSTERS!!! I wish I had read reviews about this torture chamber before we took our 5 pound Shiz Thu to them for the first time on Saturday. At drop off my husband explained what we wanted, showed them photos of what we wanted, and they told him it would be about 2 hours. They called him when they were finished and charged him $54 at pick up, even though her cut is atrocious, she was sprayed in an overwhelmingly stinky "perfume," AND THEY SLICED UP HER LEG!! They are lucky I wasn't there to pick her up, it wouldn't have gone well to say the least. We will obviously NEVER use this sh!thole ever again, and I will do everything in my power to make sure people know to avoid these evil, animal abusing criminals at all cost!

Let me start by giving some background information. I LOVE YOGA! I've been doing yoga well over a decade and only wish I had found it earlier in my life. I earned by 200 hours teacher certification about 3 years ago from a wonderful local studio. I lived at that studio for a year, going to class 5 days a week. Then COVID. The studio went virtual and 3 things happened - I got used to the convenience of doing yoga at home, I redecorated and made my own home studio, and the local studio stopped offering the classes I loved while discontinuing their virtual classes. On top of this, I had shoulder surgery in Dec. 2020 and then spent all of 2022 struggling with issues resulting from the surgery. So yoga has been difficult to find and only available to me part of the year. Once yoga studios opened as pandemic restrictions eased, I began my search for studios that offered virtual classes at times I wanted them that didn't cost to much. I tried SO MANY one month trial memberships. I found a few that were OK, but the pricing was high, the style of yoga not my favorite, or the class times were inconvenient or too infrequent. I had been looking in Central Ohio - and then looked in Cleveland - and finally started on Toledo. ENTER TOLEDO YOGA!Toledo Yoga was the first studio in the NW Ohio area I had tried. Their calendar looked very promising, offering SO MANY CLASSES throughout the day. Bonus - power yoga was offered during the week at 5:30 - the perfect time for me! I work from home and log into work from 7 AM - 5 PM or so. I want my yoga class to start before 6:30 and 5:30 is ideal. The Friday class is 4:30, but that works out fine. By then, my brain is fried on work and I'm ready to have some fun - and Conni's classes are always great. The one thing I don't absolutely love is the yoga is based on Baptiste yoga. I was trained in Vinyasa style with a focus on Ashtanga (which I really dislike), so at least Baptiste is accessible to me whereas there was so much in Ashtanga I could not do (or do well). HOWEVER, the flows always vary and each instructor puts their own twist on the format and always comes up with something fresh and interesting.On Saturday morning, I started my day with getting my butt kicked by Gi and her sculpt class. And this week I also enjoyed the 9 AM power class and have also taken the 11 AM. Sunday I have fallen in love with the flow class with Nada. Her amazing cues and long held poses is often akin to a yin class.Finally - Toledo Yoga uses Zoom. I've tried other studios that use other platforms - the worst being the Mindybody livestream. I would have joined a prior studio I tried by I hated the Mindbody experience. It didn't work on most of my devices and the instructors didn't know how to use it. Just painful classes with messed up visuals. AND the frosting on the cake - the virtual membership is SO AFFORDABLE! Added bonus - there is a huge online library of on-demand classes you have access to. The ONE time the studio's Zoom stream failed, I quickly pivoted and did a recorded class online instead.If I haven't convinced you this is an awesome value and so worth a try - I'm not sure this is the studio for you! I would have settled for so much less - but I did have to. Thank Toledo Yoga and all your wonderful instructors!!
The Yin/Sound Bath class was amazing. That was the first time that I have done both Yin and Sound Bath and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also noticed a remarkable difference in the way that I felt the next day - much more clear headed and focused. I'm plan to attend more classes!
Great studio, very friendly staff, class sizes are great you don't feel like you are going to trip over anyone. The locker rooms are clean and with enough space for everyone to put stuff up.

The great thing about In touch is that because my doctor wrote me a prescription for a massage (due to work related stress/muscle spasms), they are able to give me a receipt for my FSA reimbursement. I used to have knots in my shoulders and back as well as tension headaches, but the massages have really helped to relieve the pain. I've gotten massages here from both Sally and Dawn. They each have their own style- I feel like Dawn is a bit more comprehensive and Sally is more localized. (ie if your problem is in your back, Sally focuses on that area whereas Dawn focuses on the entire body.) Both are very good and relaxing. Note: Dawn is only available in Toledo on Thursdays. Also, they don't take credit card so bring your check book.
Due to a back injury I need a massage from time to time. This was the case last night, I was in rough shape and had a hard time moving. Stopped by and was really surprised! One of the better massages I ever had. Highly recommend and will return.

The owner was incredibly accommodating of a unique family situation. Very responsive. Drivers were professional, on time and cars were in great condition. Highly recommend!

Second attempt trying to participate in this company’s remedial course after being turned away for “not having enough people to continue with the class”. Finally sitting in a class of 6 people, we were all strongly instructed to participate and be interactive in the class to help the day go by faster. While the class was asking the instructor to explain one of the lessons that was going to be on the exam (since we were there to fully understand and take away something from the course) a lady (was denied several times to what her name was) who had been extremely full of attitude from the start had rushed out of a side room, and tried to make the whole class leave in a screaming manner. After the whole class was confused and taken by shock - a 41 year old man spoke up, who was there after working a 12 hour overnight shift was demanded to leave. Next, after not saying a word I was then demanded to leave because I “looked like I had an attitude” meanwhile we were being screamed at and I wasn’t saying anything in the first place. Also a man who previously had taken the course came in to have his certificate fixed since it was filled out wrong and couldn’t move further in his DL process with the BMV. The instructor was rude on top of lying to the man about the woman not being there to fix it, on top of him saying it wasn’t their fault - it was his. Flat out lie, she was there and completely not his fault in anyway. I am in complete shock and extremely enraged after this being the second time trying to complete this course. As a mother of two, obviously without a license, this isn’t the easiest task to arrange. Do NOT waste your time on this company for they are extremely rude and unprofessional. I have never seen anything like this. Never in my life have I been shouted at and treated with such delusional disrespect. I will be reporting this company further for its disgusting behavior. I hope no one has to experience anything like this in the future.
Please read the reviews before you decide to use this school. Nothing but issues with the class dates and them changing them because instructors kept calling off. We showed up for one class to be asked oh you're here for class? It was cancelled, we forgot to call you. Then they ran us to get a class rescheduled. Now we have been waiting for a month to get the driving part done only to be told "You're on the list" with no time frame that we will get finished. Its been very frustrating.Update -They have been communicative and helpful and have reached out to apologize and make things right. I do appreciate their effort in making things right and moving forward with getting schedule. Jamie who reached out was very friendly and willing to help. I do have to add that it shows alot that a business does monitor their reviews and reach out to customers to discuss and make things right
From the first day in the class room to the last day in the yard, the instructors were always helpful! Any questions I had or any concerns they were always happy to help! To all of my instructors, from day one you all are the entire reason I have my cdl today and I can't thank you enough!
