We had a lot of work done back in 2005, and repairs by three different electricians over the years to fix the inground lighting. John gave us recommendations to upgrade our fixtures and the wiring, and now we can rest assured everything will be working perfectly. For a very long time! John is extremely reliable, personable, knowledgeable, and collaborative. Very easy to work with. Never once did we feel pressure to do more than we needed. “We hired 1st Choice Yard Care for our spring cleaning this year and our yard looks amazing. It was a wonderful experience from the communication with the estimate, to the final work. They trimmed all of the plants in our beds, edged, mulched and cleaned everything up. They even re-set the landscape stones in our beds, vs. just mulching around them. It looks beautiful! “I have to just say that these guys are out there in the weather all day long while all these keyboard Karen’s are on here complaining. I can bet that the ones saying they were cut off by the trucks are the ones that are trying to pass either on the right, or are waiting until the last second to get over into the lane that they need to be into. These guys and gals in these vehicles cannot stop on a dime. They are hauling heavy trailers and equipment! Have some respect for these drivers and they’ll have respect for you! And all of you apartment complainers, just be glad that they don’t require you to go out in the heat to mow the complex. If there’s an issue, be sure that the apartment manager has already addressed it with the company, no need for you to get on here and bash people, if you’re not in charge of taking care of the property.“

Bob is knowledgeable, keeps in touch about scheduling, does an excellent job, and keeps his prices very reasonable. “Really good company in my opinion. I bit the bullet last year and had them come out 6 times a year to fertilizer and weed control my lawn. I had grubs and other problems that I was trying to deal with but it was becoming not worth my time for the crappy results I was getting. My neighbor who has a green thumb and researches this stuff carefully went with Grassroots, so I did too. What impressed me the most was I recently called to get an detailed explanation of what my plan actually was and what I could do to improve my lawn and the owner came out and was super helpful. Even went down to my basement and helped me figure out why my water pressure was so weak.“
