“I reached out to Pitzer Landscaping for an estimate on a full front lawn and flower bed installation on my 65 year old home. Previously there was a very large Silver maple tree in the front yard that literally ruined everything as I felt hopeless for ever having a beautiful level yard because of all the damage the huge tree had caused over the years. I had the tree removed a year before I contacted Norm to see what he thought about transforming the huge mess that I had on my hands as the root system had invaded the entire area. After his consultation I decided to go with his plan and Norm along with his crew started on what I thought was almost an impossibility of the transformation. After several days of work the new yard and flower beds were installed and the entire property looked completely different from a week ago. More than anything was his attention to detail on all aspects especially not any running heavy equipment on the new driveway to keep from cracking. After the installation was finished Norm gave me very detailed instructions on watering the entire area and his follow up included several phone calls to make sure I was doing my part to get the grass to come up in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Pitzer Landscaping if you want it done right the first time. No short cuts were taken and only quality products were professionally installed. 10 out of 10!“

“First of all, out of all the landscapers I have called, Jonathan was the only one who was responsive and on time. He understands that time is important. If you want someone reliable, he is your guy.Mr. Allen installed a huge rose bed for me in the backyard. Not only did he take time to give me his thoughts and opinions, he made sure that I was going to get the best material for what my plants need. Having experience working with one of the most popular nurseries in Columbus he was able to really guide me in the right direction as far as advice. I have never had anyone be so thorough as Jonathan with his project. He made sure that the rose bed, which was once home to five spruce trees, had all of the tree roots taken out out, all weeds and woodchips hauled off, tilled the ground until the dirt was clean and prepped, filled in with the best dirt from Kurtz Bros, and then edged the bed. What was important to me was that he understood my vision and he took it and made it come true. “Really good company in my opinion. I bit the bullet last year and had them come out 6 times a year to fertilizer and weed control my lawn. I had grubs and other problems that I was trying to deal with but it was becoming not worth my time for the crappy results I was getting. My neighbor who has a green thumb and researches this stuff carefully went with Grassroots, so I did too. What impressed me the most was I recently called to get an detailed explanation of what my plan actually was and what I could do to improve my lawn and the owner came out and was super helpful. Even went down to my basement and helped me figure out why my water pressure was so weak.“

“I contacted Russell Landscape Services to get a quote on taking a tree down. They were very quick to respond and were thorough in explaining the process. Within 3 days they had someone out to our house to access. The next day I received an email with the price and explanation of what needed to be done. Unfortunately, the cost was out of our range as it's a 60 ft tree and we had NO idea what it costs to take down. I received an email back with a referral from Russell himself of another company that might be cheaper but still quality. This is huge. They apologized and spoke highly of this other company in regards to our needing a little cheaper price tag. It is all of these things that will definitely cause us to go back to Russell Landscape in the future. I highly recommend them!“
