“I was looking for a place to build my strength (with weight lifting) and balance, but I needed somewhere that was body-positive and would hold me accountable (not just take my money and let me not show up!).A friend raved about this place, and I kept seeing their ads on social… with lots of different body types doing a variety of exercises modified as necessary. I signed up for a trial period and was not disappointed! It’s been a perfect fit for me (a 40 something overweight gal looking to be stronger, stable, and maintain bone density as I age).This gym is a friendly supportive atmosphere including staff and clients. They try to connect clients with every necessary resource, meet me where I am fitness-wise, and celebrate non-scale wins to keep folks motivated. Clients are encouraged to modify exercises to avoid injury and work up to a “full” version gradually. You set your own goals, and your “why” is considered an important part of your program. You can schedule classes online, and the teacher to client ratio is small. Some classes are even available virtually!I have regular check in’s with a trainer to monitor my progress, and she helps me adjust my training as necessary if I am in pain or having some other issue. If I don’t show up for any class in a week, or haven’t scheduled, they will contact me to see what is up!“
“The facility is top notch, with everything you need and more added all the time. The trainers are knowledgeable, and thorough, they don't just sit and watch they coach. If you want to hit PRs and get better then this is the place to go. All covid measures are followed, and the facility is clean. Highly recommended“
“I’ve been working with the instructors at Body Pure Pilates for over seven years now. They are well trained and understand the various challenges my body has gone through during this time. Pilates is so beneficial as an exercise for the whole body! Recently I have been working with Huny Adams who in addition to being a well trained Pilates instructor, was also a licensed physical therapist. She know exactly what I should and should not do with my limitations. I’ll be 75 this year and have had both hips replaced and had to have my spine fused four years ago. Without Pilates I would not be as able bodied as I am today.“

Then Patrick helped me put together a strength training program that addresses areas that would benefit from weight bearing without adding fluff to my program. So it’s streamlined leaving room to change up exercises to add interest but not requiring inordinate amounts of time.
