The first impression I had of the doctor was terrible and I didn’t want to go back. Being on Medicaid, choices are very limited. I was forced to stay because I couldn’t find anywhere else accepting new patients. Now, I love the doctor. He really does care about his patients. My daughter missed an appointment without rescheduling and he told me about it so that I can get her to come in, of course, after checking to make sure it was ok to discuss her medical issues with me. Then, I unknowingly missed an appointment and he had the nurse call me to reschedule. He’s the ONLY doctor that I have ever had who seemed to actually care. I couldn't get my boys into the Patterson location but that's ok. I really liked Dr Gawry. She spent a lot of time with us. She made my boys feel comfortable which they are very shy and our nurse Stephanie was absolutely amazing. The only thing about the community health centers are they look a lil rough on the outside and look uninviting but sometimes u find a gem on the inside. I really liked the staff we had

They are getting two stars only because my granddaughter loved the Dr, which is why we continued to take her there even after we moved much farther away. The staff have never been terribly friendly. Today we where five minutes late after a thirty minute drive and after being stuck behind an accident, they would not see my 3 yr old granddaughter. She bawled. Not going back. Life happens. I could understand if a patient was late more than once... Or very late. But five minutes??? Seemed just spiteful. No one wants a spiteful PEDIATRICIAN.
