“We had K.D. Yoder remove old Masonite siding from our house and install new vinyl siding--along with OSB and house wrap. They were great to work with, and we cannot recommend them enough. From the first visit, to the final follow-ups to make sure that the job was done to our satisfaction, they were great to work with.

Ken, who we worked with on the project, deserves a special shout out. We care a lot about the appearance of our house, and the quality of work that is done, and Ken was patient as we worked through all our options, asked him the same questions over and over again, and changed our minds more than once. Although I'm sure that we caused him plenty of headache, he never once let on that it was the case.

The quality of work was also top notch. The crews that did the removal of the existing siding, and the installation of the new siding were both great. They worked incredibly hard, and through a heatwave at that.

Finally, almost any job is going to have a few things that need to be touched up when all is said and done. Ken and the team worked with us to make sure everything we identified after the fact was taken care of.

“Amazing experience with Combat Contracting!Here’s our story: We contacted Combat in late 2023 to get a quote on filling in a 2-story den to make an additional bedroom, bathroom and storage space on the floor above. They came in at a very reasonable number compared to other quotes we received and gave us an estimated timeline at about 4-5 weeks. This timeline was surprisingly short at first, but was a big factor in our decision because we were/are expecting a baby in May 2024. Combat stuck to their timeline which astounded us! They were extremely respectful and trustworthy and I never had a worry about any member of the crew being in our house without us or being around our young children. They took care of all of the permits for us and kept us informed of the lengthy permit waiting process (which determined the start date).All said and done, they were finished in about 5 weeks and there wasn’t much down time once they started—the GC really made sure things were streamlined so our family didn’t have to live in a construction area for longer than necessary.Benefits of using Combat Contracting:-They quote for labor alone which is a major benefit and that allowed us to save a ton of money (from other contractors charging an overhead on supplies).-The GC Butch was honest and up front about what adjustments and changes we would need to accommodate this large interior addition to our home (redoing headers, moving windows etc). This helped us financially plan and be mentally prepared for the real changes to the house.-Butch was so patient with our kids and at the house frequently checking on progress.-My husband and I chose this company over others because there were many structural changes needed to make this addition (new floor over existing living space, new headers installed, new windows framed in, exterior siding etc) and we felt that with their construction experience (as opposed to simpler home renovations) they would be the safest choice.-Combat has a customer payment structure that is tied to the completion of major steps in the project, so we never felt like they would just walk away with our money.-The crew, headed by Jose, was trustworthy, worked hard and did what they said they were going to do. They showed up on time and often stayed late to finish different stages of each project.I could go on about our amazingly positive experience with Combat Contracting, but will end it here with the following summary: don’t have any hesitations using Combat for your contracting needs. They are a trustworthy, capable, skilled and honest company and I would gladly be a reference for them in the future if the need should arise.“

“Had JF Baker's Sons Roofing out today for a quote. I wanted them to check the roof of my parents' home that I recently inherited to make sure there were no issues with the roof that I was not aware of. The current roof was put on in (I think) around 2008 and I was afraid that it might even need a new roof. The person who came out (I'm bad with names and can't remember his name) got up on the roof and took pictures and looked it over and told me it actually looked pretty good - that there were probably several years more life in those shingles. I was very impressed by his honesty and will definitely be calling them if any issues do arise in the future.
