“As a child, when I had a tooth ache, I had to ride my biscycle over to the town where the dentist was. It wasnt very far, maybe 2 miles. But i was always so scared. The dentist had Parkinsons disease and he would shake while working on your teeth. Then he retired and a new one came in. That one said „if it hurts raise your hand and I will stop“ so when it hurt i raised my hand but he would just keep going. This was before they used to numb you. For many years i was terrified of the dentist and i never went until i was devastated and in pain.I love my dentist that i found several years back. Im still scared but i talk myself into being calm. If i feel the slightest pain, they take care of it. And im so greatful that i can actually go and get my teeth taking care of. They have screens where you can watch netflix if you choose to.
