“EDIT: I'm changing my review since they were able to respect my original cancellation date so I no longer have to pay the last month's fee. I appreciate them being flexible and not giving me an issue with the cancellation date. I joined goyoga over a year ago when I became pregnant and participated in the prenatal yoga sessions every Sunday. Heather was a phenomenal instructor. I really enjoyed all the yoga instructors and the facility but here is my issue. The main issue I have with this establishment is the communication the staff has with customers regarding payments/cancellation. I went in 4 separate times during business hours trying to speak to an employee about cancelling my membership but every time the front desk was empty with no employees around or the doors were closed during business hours. I called and left multiple messages and was told I could only cancel in person. When I went in to cancel the 5th time, I had noticed that my monthly membership increased by $10, making the total at $100 a month for the unlimited membership. I was never notified of this price increase nor was I sent a notification about the price increase. When I asked about it, the employee had "no idea" where the extra charge came from and had no explanation as to why I was being charged more randomly. I was given a refund for that month but I'm not sure how long this was going on for because I was never notified. I think it's absolutely unprofessional to charge customers additional fees without any explanation as to why. It's unfortunate because I really enjoyed my experience up until the end when it came to the business side of things. Sadly I do not recommend this establishment unless you are lookout for a membership that could randomly increase without your knowledge, essentially stealing money from customers without an explanation. Super unprofessional and management should look more into this issue and inform all customers of any monthly fee changes instead of just charging customers.“
