“I have been training with Todd since September 2023, following my leg amputation above the knee. I believe I'm his first leg amputee client. Todd was quite ready and excited to take on the challenge! He collaborated with my physical therapist to focus on specific areas to improve my balance on the prosthetic side, and strength on my other leg. He also researched various exercises and modifications for leg amputees.We've been working out twice a week on strength training and weight lifting, balance, core, agility, and other areas. Todd is always very well prepared, creative, patient, and focused on proper form. He constantly challenges me to try new routines and heavier weights. The workouts are always fun, and I look forward to them each week. Under Todd's tutelage I have gained strength and confidence to return to my outdoor adventures: hiking, biking, kayaking, backpacking, and even downhill skiing!“

“I'm completely obsessed with Butcher Shop Fitness. I was nervous going into my first class, but my instructor made me feel super comfortable and helped me a lot throughout the class. Every single class I've been to has been amazing, and each instructor is so unique which I love! Today I took Mia's class at 7:15, and she was so observant and helped me, which I thoroughly appreciate. It was definitely my favorite class thus far! “I've been working out here for two years as of this review. Before I came, I had very little experience working out. James is an excellent trainer who will push you to your limits, but also will take the time to teach you the right form, is not judgmental, and listen to you when your body needs a rest. The environment is perfect for working out. It is never too crowded and everyone is very friendly. I've never had trouble being able to use the equipment. The 24 hour key card access also makes it easy to workout on your schedule. I can't recommend this gym enough!“
“I’ve been working with the instructors at Body Pure Pilates for over seven years now. They are well trained and understand the various challenges my body has gone through during this time. Pilates is so beneficial as an exercise for the whole body! Recently I have been working with Huny Adams who in addition to being a well trained Pilates instructor, was also a licensed physical therapist. She know exactly what I should and should not do with my limitations. I’ll be 75 this year and have had both hips replaced and had to have my spine fused four years ago. Without Pilates I would not be as able bodied as I am today.“

“I have been attending classes here for a few weeks now and I really like it. The classes are very challenging, and the trainers are awesome. I needed a new gym since my previous gym was forced to close and based on the reviews and class descriptions, I chose to join this gym. The class sizes are perfect: not too big or too small. The trainers always work with me to provide alternatives for exercises that I need to avoid due to knee issues. While I have come up with substitutions on my own, the trainers will provide me with other alternatives that work the muscles in the same fashion as the exercise I need to avoid. I really appreciate that attention to detail. Additionally, the trainers will watch my form and provide suggestions to help me improve. It's refreshing to know that they care about my form to help avoid injury and to enable me to be more successful in my fitness journey. Keep up the great work!“

“After turning 50 my body started getting sore spots. I went to Chris to work on my shoulder specifically and within one month the pain was gone. I've never worked with a personal trainer before, and Chris's semi-private classes are perfect. They make it affordable and it's fun to be around other folks working out. It's a happy and encouraging environment, and Chris really knows what he's doing. He works with all different ages and body types, from the super fit to old fogies like me. He comes up with a personal plan for each individual that really works. Highly recommend!“

“Ryan Bickford has been great to work with. Prior to signing up with Ryan I had worked out with weights only a couple times in the last 20 years. I had tried a couple trainers previously, but they had a one size fits all approach and I burned out within a couple of weeks. Ryan has kept me engaged and showing up at the gym for over 8 months now, and I have no intention on quitting. My strength and physical condition have improved significantly over the last 8 months. I won't be a power lifter anytime soon, but I have gone from embarrassingly weak, to feeling much more confident with weights. Bench Press is up by about 75lbs. Ryan is also great about providing information and a plan for diet and other workouts outside of the gym. I have gotten in my own way and not followed his plan, but another great thing about Ryan is that he has not shamed me for that. I know he is ready to assist when I am ready to follow the plan. Definitely recommend Ryan.“
