“We recently had Cannon-Catavolos Funeral Home in Parma Heights host my mother's funeral services. From start to finish they did an amazing job. We met with the funeral home director, Lindsey, to plan and view their site which was very nice and inviting. While the planning part is sorrowful, she put me at ease to get through it and I felt there was clear plan leaving that intial meeting. She was truly a blessing to work with during this difficult time. Communications throughout the entire process were outstanding. From the moment we arrived the staff was on point, greeting, opening doors, and letting guest know where everything was. I very much appreciated their professionalism when a family issue arose. “The establishment is clean and nice. The preparation for our loved one was good, but there are a few things we did not care for. The cost for 2 single gardenia was costly considering they were wilted by the time of the viewing. Mary, who is very nice and listened and made suggestions, my only request to her would be at the time of preparation, people are distraught and so much information is given and so many decisions, you don't always recall everything said. Granted we should have read the paperwork, but how many do during times like that? Mary could have mentioned/ revisited the discount and how it works vs her response when I asked- it is in the paperwork. Other issue is while we were a small funeral, we had to wait at the cemetery twice. Once for the escort to the grave site and again for the pallbearers which were only 3 not 4. Considering the cost, I personally did not think it was worth the money spent.“
