“Before I started working with John I never had any real guidance or coaching in any fitness aspect of my life so... I wasn't sure what to expect. My biggest concern was being judged for my (lack of) fitness and also fitting a routine into a fairly busy schedule.I was relieved when I started working with John that there was no judgment. He was upfront with where I was lacking but presented it in a matter-of-fact fashion without judging me for letting myself get there. That approach worked well for me so I knew early on John would be a good fit for me. He was also able to tailor a routine to fit my schedule and is very flexible if I need to move appointments around.Earlier this year my daughter was born. Being a little older than the average new dad, I quickly realized I wanted to be around for her long as long as possible. My biggest goals were weight loss and just general improvement to my health.I've been training with John for about 2.5 months. The achievements he's helped me make already are amazing, I can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my adult life. I've lost over 20 pounds (it would be more if I behaved better on vacation and over Thanksgiving), feel amazing, and have gained strength and mobility. It's been eye-opening how much more strength and mobility improve your day-to-day life and help me better keep up with an active little one. Before training, I couldn't (gracefully) lift my daughter up over my head and let her ride on my shoulders. Now it's a very easy motion for me, and she loves riding up there.Working with John has been great, he provides great motivation without judgment. He knows how to get quick results even when you don't have a ton of time to dedicate to fitness.
