The Academy of Self-Defense offers practical self-defense classes for ages 5 and up in a fun and safe environment. Students, such as a 4-year-old who recently earned a yellow stripe belt, have shown great progress and confidence. The academy is also highly recommended for summer activities and is known for being welcoming and great with kids.
My children have been working with Sensai Green and Master C, as well as the wonderful SWAT team now for over six mos. I have seen so much positivity instilled into these children through disciplining themselves to go several times a week, learning valuable life lessons, learning self defense skills and the correct and appropriate times for usage!!! The academy really cares about the wellbeing of the children who are enrolled. They teach them not only the skills but also constantly motivate them to help improve those skills. It truly has been wonderful to become part of this family and all the kids are gaining new friendships. The special events that Vicki plans along with the other staff are always super fun and inclusive!!! We would not go anywhere else because we love it here and I believe your family will too. They are very family friendly and help the children and adults gain confidence in what they can achieve. They also incorporate fun things to as well.
I want to thank Master C and Shelby for helping myself and my co workers learn safe ways to protect ourselves in our field of massage therapy as well as while we are out other places. this is a great place to learn confidence and practice what you learn. thank you again
