I had the honor and privilege to train at the American Karate Academy for over a decade. There is, in my opinion, no better and more legitimate martial arts Academy in the city, and it is one of the best in the state. Hanshi Lee Harris teaches children and adults, in all areas of the arts, from self defense to traditional karate to physical fitness. He has experience with handi-capable students (because a handicap is just another thing to be overcome) as well as attention disorders and physical therapy.
