“This is a really great hair salon. My 9 year old loved his haircut. The person that worked with him was very patient and did a great job. It was a pleasant surprise to find a place that I thought worked mainly with adults being so good with children. They have games to play with while waiting. “Been going to George's 2 on 5th Ave for a couple years now. I pretty much never have to wait, they listen carefully to what I want, make suggestions if I ask for them, and then get to work delivering a great haircut, every time. All of the barbers are consistent and talented, and they have very low employee turnover. They don't quiz me about how my day is going or where I'm from or what I do, which I really appreciate. That's not to say they're unfriendly - I genuinely feel like a welcome and valued customer every time - it's just that they're focused on doing the work well and making sure everybody walks out satisfied.
