I had a scissor cut appointment with Kevin and it was everything I could’ve asked for a first time experience. I came in knowing what style I wanted, but Kevin helped me go through exactly every detail that I should know about the style and how it can vary. Every step he took, he explained why he was doing it and even gave recommendations on how to maintain the style he gave me. After the cut, I was extremely satisfied with the service and result. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next cut!“

“This is without the very best shop in the the city. The vibe is so relaxed, friendly, warm, personable, you immediately feel very comfortable and know that you are in good hands. Tim has created and curated this environment for his customers. I started going to Tim about a year ago, right after a really bad barber had literally chopped my hair in so many layers that it is hard to describe what it looked like, but trust me it was not good. I found Tim at Public Image and within 7 months he had somehow managed to get my hair back in shape. I know how he managed, he is an expert when it comes to cutting hair. He listens, recommends and most importantly follows through and gives you the exact cut that you had discussed with him. I can't say enough about Tim other than he is just an all around spectacular guy even minus his expertise in cutting hair. Everyone do yourself a favor and book a haircut with Tim or actually any of the others in his shop! They are all great. Public Image NYC is a very solid 10“

I was trying out a new barber in NYC was nervous because my previous haircuts have not been the best. I have never walked out happier after a haircut. Steve took his time to understand my hair and how it works. He slowly progressed throughout the haircut and made sure we were on the same page of what we want the final result to look like.
