I am so impressed with this place! I saw the PA and she was AMAZING! She cleaned everything in front of my son and I , before she had us use. She explained everything she was doing. I wasn't aware they used microscopes to look at our eyes too! So needless to say i love this place even more now! Its clean, your in and out snd i had my glasses in about one week which is not bad.To the person who said the frames seemed cheap, then open up ur wallet and spend something, thats on u not them! Your insurance wont cover something expensive? Well I guess u will have to be like the rest of us peasants. Lol! Anyways id recommend to everyone. Ty Sterling Optical

I wound up coming here on an emergency basis... the frames for my previous pair of glasses had finally kicked the bucket (they were 4 years old, and due to weight loss over the time would fall off my face frequently), and just two days before I was leaving to go out of town. My lenses were still intact, and they were able to get them fit into a budget frame which weren't far off from my original ones. This was a 5 star experience for sure.As I was waiting for the lenses to be put into the frames, I found out that they take my vision insurance, and considering it had been four years since my last eye exam, I set up an appointment to get my eyes checked here. My appointment experience was very pleasant. I was seen promptly, within 10 minutes of my scheduled time. The exam was very thorough, but at the same time completed quickly and efficiently (my left eye hadn't changed much, but a cornea condition was found in my right eye and it had changed quite a bit) as I was out in an hour and a half, including the time to pick out my new glasses.This is where I'm deducting half a star from the experience. It took me quite a bit of time to try to find the frames I was looking for... they had a very limited and unflattering for me selection of frames from my preferred manufacturer, but after going back and forth a bit I was able to find a really nice pair that fit me wonderfully. Disappointed I'm no longer rocking Ray-Ban, but it is what it is. Another half star deduction is for the turn around time for me to receive my glasses. I understand I have a complicated prescription which takes more time, and it was around the holidays so I figured it might take a while to receive them. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks, yet it took a day short of 4 for them to come in. But when they did, I gave them a proper look and love how everything turned out. Because of the cornea condition I need to go back in 6 months to determine if has progressed to determine if I need surgery done on it, and I will be returning here to get the new exam done.

I love my new pair of glasses. A special thank you goes to Sophia B who assisted me throughout my appointment and made sure I chose the perfect fit just for me! This was my first time ever at this Sterling Optical location and it definitely won’t be my last!
