“My son really loves the pod at Rise Above Flotation, so he gave me a gift of three sessions there. The first time he and I went together. I am a bit claustrophobic and decided to try the open float room. I had never done a float before and I was a bit nervous. I won't go into all the details, but I did not like the experience at all; I got out halfway through because I couldn't take another minute! However, I didn't want the other two sessions to go to waste, so I decided to give it another try and my husband, who was excited to try the pod, joined me. This time Ryan gave us the orientation before we started and he had some excellent tips for helping us enjoy the experience. His guidance made all the difference and I had a much better float.
